I just recently put the Japanese Wii Shop on my Wii and purchases a game (for JPY1.000.00 and I really hope that translated to US$10 as I do not know the currency of yen) that I had longed to be put onto the American Wii Shop, but never was.

But, my Wii has been acting strange lately and I am worried that the game might get lost if I have to restart the Wii for whatever reason. Because it took me a long time to finally get the Wii Shop to accept my card and I am worried about the Wii breaking.

So, how can I make this newly purchased VCA title into a WAD file so that I may re-download it onto a new Wii, or fixed Wii in case I have to reset my Wii to normal settings to avoid bricking? I do not want to lose the game and Japanese WAD files are rare to find online.

Or, perhaps, they can only be found if Japanese is your native language. Either way, I can never find them and that is why I went through with this effort to purchase the game directly from the Japanese Wii Shop so that I could enjoy it at last. It truly is a very fun game and one of the better import titles.

But, I digress. My main point is that I simply want to make it into a ".wad" file so that I may put it on my Wii again, should it break for whatever reason. So, if anyone happens to have the tools that I need to do this and a tutorial perhaps, with images, that would be greatly appreciated and it would mean a lot.

Thank you, but I am having an issue with this already. I do not know who the developer is, but I want to ask for assistance well I still have you on the line.

One of them does not and was created into a ".wadd" file instead of ".wad" like the others were. I used ShowMiiWads in an effort to change the channel title into the game's official English title. However, I get this message whenever I try to do so:

Oh, and I bought an MSX title as well but I can not find its file anywhere. I really want to dump the wad and switch it over to my other Wii, but for some reason that app you showed me can not seem to track it down. If it did, it is in those list of "(title is missing)" errors that appeared in the "Installed Channels" section that had all of the other games except for this one. I tried looking through all of those, but with no luck. Are MSX titles not able to be dumped?

I think it would be useful to report your issue to blueDump developer.
it's maybe a bug with this specific game.

explain which Title/region/etc. it is, how you get it (from eshop, from pirated wad file, etc.), any information could be useful to fix your issues and hopefully help more users in the future :)

@K3Nv2 Snow Day is pretty fun. My only bitch would be the camera controls, when you move around, say down, you have to move the right stick left or right to get camera to turn and get your view, other than that I like it so far.

From what people say pvp isn't even worth it
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I just been playing offline, and they give you a few bots here n there on your team to help battle. I don't think it's as funny as the other games tho, more battle oriented than humor, which kinda sucks, but I'm still early in it
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, doesnt the game have a campaign mode?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea, and co-op, but you can also start a pvp session and battle just with friends. You get special skill cards (powers) the more you play. And higher value cards, but you can only enable so many cards at a time.

If you can find enough for it

Toilet paper is considered the money, you collect and buy stuff with TP, kinda funny. Graphics are def better than the other games tho, I think they used Unity 5 engine.

I bet most people at the time still watched it in black and white
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, Many of them did before colour television was common.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Likely because black and white TV was in-expensive.

  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
It certainly wasn't inexpensive it cost the same as a new car back then
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
How much did a 1965 color TV cost?

For example, a 21-inch (diagonal) GE color television in 1965 had an advertised price of $499, which is equal to $4,724 in today's dollars, according to the federal government's inflation calculator.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@K3Nv2, take into consideration how economy was back then
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Yeah that's why they listed inflation rates
