Hacking PokeInjection + GW on N3DSXL & O3DSXL

Okay, let me get this straight...

I can use PKHeX for .CIA games using Gateway on N3DSXL and O3DSXL.

What I can't do is PokeInject to OG cart without sysNAND 9.2 on O3DSXL only? Because it simply doesn't work on N3DSXL? Correct?

So really, instead trying to use a N3DSXL + GW for PokeInjection I should really go buy an O3DSXL on sysNAND 9.2 and install GW and then use RxTools to do a transfer from my current 9.5 O3DSXL?

Of course I'd have to update to 9.7 on my current system to do this, right? Or no? My current O3SDXL has no GW. FYI.

So if all I'm after is PokeInjection, is there a UPC list of O3DSXL's with FW 9.2 or below? Or are most O3DSXL's on 9.2 below right now?

I personally use savedatafiler to dump my cia save and open it in pkhex, edit it, then just use savedatafiler to load the save back into my 3ds.

This works regardless of emunand version and regardless of ORASXY update files.

I do this so I can wondertrade out 3 boxes of shinies on my o3ds, o3dsxl, and n3dsxl during WTW

What I'm wanting is to be able to inject to original game cart. To do so I would need an O3DSXL on 9.2 or below so I can browser exploit and have GW installed.

So what my concern is this... why would I want an N3DSXL+GW when all I want is an O3DSXL for PokeInjection? I could get GW and an O3DSXL and have what I need. Then in time I could just buy an N3DSXL and use my GW on it as well...

But if I go straight into an N3DSXL I kiss cart injection goodbye. Can't GW restore saves to original carts? Or does it not work on N3DSXL?

You wouldn't use gateway, you would use SDF to dump from the cartridge. The catch is while in emunand mode it uses older keys so you have to reset your game save unless you already started your cart in emunand.

Am I missing something here guys? Ntr cfw decrypts and injects retail carts saves on n3ds. Is there a problem with Pokemon? Although I am not sure what PokeInjection is.

He wants to inject pokemon he created in pkhex to his retail cart. You need a 3ds that is on firmware 9.0 -9.X (not sure which revision patched web injection, probably 9.2)

The web injection method does not work in any emunand

But doing it with the web injection method is just a pain though. It's so much easier to dump a cia save with sdf and edit the entire save game with pkhex. Use pokemon bank to mass move all the pokemon you injected into the cia to a retail cart. This way works on any firmware between 4.5-9.2

pkhex is a program you use to make hacked pokemon. There's a browser bug on the 3ds that lets you inject a pokemon into your save file that was created in pkhex.

Pokemon is card2. I think only power saves can extract a savegame from card2 carts.

Or you can still generate pokémon with pkHex and import the modified save with savedatafiler either in N3DS or Old3ds, then initiate a trade between a GW3DS launching the modified CIA save and an other with the retail cart.

Or what I did before. I generated pokémon through pkhex and injected the save with SDF on the alpha sapphire rom, then imported those generated pokemon from the rom to the pokébank, and then launched the classic mode with my omega ruby retail cart and imported the pokemon from the pokébank. But I don't think this method still works, as GW can't launch the latest firmware

Okay, so if I have a N3DSXL + GW can I run a .CIA of Pokebank and then transfer to a retail cart using Pokebank. That would take forever. That's 730+ pokemon.

But if I have an O3DSXL 9.2 + GW I can just switch to classic mode and use web injection method, right?

So N3DSXL naturally blocked web browser exploit, hence CN and ZOOT.

So really, I want a new O3DSXL with FW 9.2 or below so I can install GW on it, then use RxTools to transfer from my old O3DSXL to the new one with GW.

Screw N3SDSXL. I want pokeinjection...

Oh, and pokeijection (spider) was blocked on FW 9.5.0-23x. I'm currently on 9.5.0-22U.

I'm not an idiot. I know what PKHeX is. I'm just trying to pint out that I'm better off using an O3DSXL 9.2 than buying an N3DSXL.

But now I need to find the UPC for O3DSXL's 9.2 and under... or do most come with 9.0? What's the status on that?

I DON'T have Gateway. FYI. So I would have to do a regular system transfer onto the new O3DSXL 9.2 + GW.

I think GW and the retail cart injection are not compatible.

With your old 3ds, you can use the injection method, but I don't know if it can be done in classic mode, but it sure can be done while in sysnand.

For the pokébank, if you download the cia, you won't be able to use it with your retail cart, as classic mode doesn't allow to launch CIAs. The solution would have been to download (and suscribe to) the pokébank from the eshop.

Better option for you, IMO is to use the pokémon injection while in sysnand with the retail cart.

Look, right now I can use webinjection to pokeinject onto my cart. I'm not udating past 9.5.0-22U simply because of this (I have a Sky3DS and would like ot move onto 9.7).

Thing is, I'm pretty sure using pokebank will take forever... I'm genning a master collection here. So 719+ easy.

But if I could use the web injection of another O3DSXL on 9.2 with Gateway installed on it, I could just pop into classic mode (or however I get into sysNAND with Gw installed) and use that with my cart.

I'd also like to transfer all my eShop content from my current to the future O3DSXL. This means I'll need GW to run RxTools to do that system transfer.

Trying to kill two birds with one stone. Sadly, I don't think an N3DSXL is what I need.

So here's the gameplan:

• Go buy new O3DSXL with FW 9.2
• Get GW and install onto 9.2 O3DSXL
• UPdate GW to 9.7 using RxTools
• Update old O3DSXL to 9.7
• Perform a system transfer from old O3DSXL > new O3DSXL+GW
• Run new O3DSXL+GW in sysNAND and pokeinject onto retail catridge
• Inject into .CIAs same pokemon using GW

Sure, I'd have to start fresh with all my eShop games, but I'd be able to cheat using GW.

Then I'd:

• Sell off old O3DSXL on 9.7 w/o GW to Gamestop
• Use trade-in and some extra $$$ to buy N3DSXL
• Install GW on N3DSXL using Sky3DS and RxTools

So in the end I'd have an O3DSXL 9.2+GW+Pokeinjection+eShop and a N3DSXL+GW - No Pokeinjecion +eShop.

I'd lose my saves on eShop (but who cares? It's just SFIV3D and SSB4 and MiiPlaza) but now have GW to cheat and get full eShop DLs.

rxtools is nothing to do with GW, its only really useful for updating emunand without a GW card and doesnt play roms/sdf etc....its just "classic mode" for non GW users, but with better emunand FW compatibility.......and it doesnt work on n3DS

all you really need is a n3DS on 9.2 or lower + CN/sky3ds to run NTR CFW, then you can extract your saves edit them and inject them back to the cart.....you dont even really need gateway tbh for just pokemon editing, you can even use NTR to access eshop and get the patches so you can still play online with your retail cart

Only you need a Spoofed Browser before you Setup your Emunand.
Before you Setup. Use on 9.2 rsavout.bin
Than You can use Rx Emunand whit spoofed browser.
Than Start a New Game (Whitout the Actuallest Pokemon Update)
Than use rsavin.bin Go in or out of a Door, and all your Data is Restored.

Now to figure out if I can do a system transfer from my current O3DSXL if I update it to 9.7 and then use a target O3DSXL 9.2 +GW and spoof 9.7 as well allowing the eShop access and NNID transfer.
