I've done a system transfer from a 9.5 emuNand in which there were installed the 6 legit EUR CIAs to a original sysNand 9.5.
However, the legit CIAs don't come up in the new system, and they are not downloadable from eShop (But they were downloadable before, in the emuNand).
Did I miss something or simply is not possible to system transfer the legit CIAs?

I also tried this and got exactly the same result. In the data management section it shows the games greyed and crossed out. Did you happen to have a nnid ont the console you were transferring from? Wondering if the games can be linked to a nnid 1st to help them transfer.

I thought the only way to do this was via CFW on 4.x, and it was very brick-sensitive. I'm not touching this yet.
And if you have a gateway and no hard-mod to restore your brick, there really isn't a good reason to do this as you can just play in gateway mode. I don't think it's possible to transfer games to a sysnand above 4.5.

Im trying to do this because i have multiple consoles and the one i want to transfer to is on 9.5 so no gateway. My consoles are nand modded anyway so no brick risk. I would test more its just the stupid 7 day wait between system transfers.

1. EUR legit CIA doesn't work in USA sysNAND (Region Lock)
2. If they are Bundle legit CIA, transfer via Nintendo System Transfer doesn't work for them.

If system transfer doesn't work then why did my legit bundled mario 3d land (not installed by CIA) transfer but not the rest?

No I didn't have a NNID. Can anyone confirm that bundled legit games are linked to a eShop account? I would try with a NNID though.

This is likely not possible if your NAND's are no longer linked. CIA create a ticket to match your NAND's unique ID when installed. If you wiped your sysNAND, the install will fail every time because your emuNAND titles can no longer match up with your sysNAND.

In short details:
you have to have them installed in sysnand first,
Take a new SD and format it, put launcher.dat and your legit cia's you want on it, boot your 3ds and do the ds profile exploit thing to boot gateway (not gateway menu) press select and select devmenu and start devmenu so you can install the cia files (Don't know how it works with CFW), Then backup your SD to pc and make your emunand (this will format your sd, that's why you need to backup your sd)
Put rxtools on your SD and boot into rxtools emunand then update your emunand to latest FW, You have to set your nnid then on your emunand with the legit cia's on it, Also you have to start the games at least 1 time after linking your nnid, Reboot 3DS into rx emunand. After that you can delete your installed games in data management go to eshop and redownload them, ready to do a system transffer

Are you sure this method actually works? Did you try it?

Well i'm waiting till my 7 days are gone before i can do another system transffer.
But for now i can only test the emunand, any legit cia i have installed, i can delete and redownload in the eshop
There's one exception, New Super Mario Bros 2 - Special Edition and the reason is, you can't download that game with all DLC included in the eshop (you can seperate, but it will nog give you the redownload option, only the buy option)

So i'll let you guys know when i have done the transffer next week, how it all turned out :)

If they are or were installed on sysNAND (WITHOUT) wiping sysNAND, it should be possible. If you wiped sysNAND, you would have to make a new emuNAND linked to sysNAND, update emuNAND to 9.6, link the same NNID, download titles, convert to CIA, then it may work. This is all logical thinking on my part though. I have no desire to ever use sysNAND again, and urge you to use emuNAND going forward as well. But if you want an answer you'll have to try yourself.

Nope, it does not work emunand to sysnand.

Next thing i wanna try:
Have a hardmod installed on my 3DS XL
install all on a 9.2 sysnand system, then update that system to 9.6 (losing GW compatibility)
System transfer from sysnand to sysnand
downgrade to backup nand with hardmod

Is it possible to do a system transfer to the rxtools emunand? Could you set up a NNID on your destination system, then transfer that system onto the emunand? That should combine eshop data and seven days later you could swap it back.

Well it does indeed, everything works fine in emunand, you can redownload the games etc... BUJT once you system transffer your fully working emunand to another systems sysnand, all pre-installed games are gone and you can't redownload.
Like sa&id in another thread, i have atm 8 3DS systems at my home (some loaned for a time) just for testing the transffer stuff, no methode worked so fare, the only methode left is sysnand 9.2 install, upgrade and do a 9.6 sysnand transffer to 9.6 sysnand.

But first i need to hardmod a 3DS, and knowing myself it can take some time before i do that (next week or so )
