Hacking Any way to transfer streetpass data 3ds to n3ds

I have a 3ds xl 4.5 and hard modded as well as a n3ds 9.0 and hard modded with a gateway card and cubic ninja.

Is there any way to transfer my streetpass data from one to the other? I was thinking about using rx tools to update my o3ds then updating the nand on my n3ds to do a system transfer then downgrading back to 9.0 and making an emunand off that. I am just wondering if this is even possible

That's pretty much how i did it. Update GW Emunand to 9.6 with rxTools then system transferred to 9.6 n3ds, so no reason it wouldn't work. I didn't bother downgrading the n3ds (yet) though.

So if you're going to do that i guess you could do 9.6 emu to 9.6 n3ds, backup n3ds 9.6 and then downgrade back to 9.0 and inject that backup into emunand on the n3ds with all data still intact.

That's the only way i see it happening because if you downgrade from 9.6 to 9.0 obviously it has to be done with hard mod and the 9.0 backup won't have the data there.

Thanks but would I be fine downgrading back to 9.0 with no problems? I already have emunand setup would I need to link them to get the data to show up or can I just drag and drop the plaza information to the emunand 3ds folder so to speak

Blah now I have to install all my cia files again, oh well small price to pay. Just wondering will this also transfer my NNID as well? I might just as well cut my losses and redue everything so I don't have to wait for GW.

Yeah it transfers EVERYTHING including nnid which is then locked to that system unless you transfer it to another "new" 3ds, for some strange reason you can't system transfer back to an old 3ds from a new one. :/

So your old system is pretty much a clean slate like new again.

It won't work if you restore the nand backup you did before the transfer.

Yeah it transfers EVERYTHING including nnid which is then locked to that system unless you transfer it to another "new" 3ds, for some strange reason you can't system transfer back to an old 3ds from a new one. :/

So your old system is pretty much a clean slate like new again.

I'm not worried about transferring it back, I'll give this a try and report back when I am done, hopefully this can serve as a reference to anyone else who wants to do this
