Homebrew Genesis plus gx, slow games..

i tried to play sanic dah edgy-odd on the wii (for maximum nostalgic feeling without buying stuff)

and i noticed the music playing a bit slowler than i remember, i decided to use a stop watch, and can see the timer at 30 seconds takes 5 more seconds than real life..

tried both on sanic "vanilla editon with no dlc" and "sanic 3 HC RTS triple core and knuckles"

(no, those are not rom hacks, i just made a joke with the names)

is this normal? i had read the pdf of the emulator and i was sold telling his aim was to be as accurate as possible, which is one thing i love..

Seems like you are emulating a PAL console, which makes games run slower, it can normally be changed in the emulator settings. I have everything set to auto and Sonic is running at normal speed .

yeah, after a while i found that was the issue.. they just slowed down the game to 50hz and added borders to make it up with the higher resolution

but i didn't remember the game was this slow.. i can remember it was kinda slow but not this much..

i now feel european old consoles were a rip off
