So I have everything I need. A New 3DSXL On 9.0, Gateway 3DS, 64GB Micro SD Cards and Cubic Ninja.

What do I do now? I tried looking around but I couldn't find any threads on what to do now.

-Saw firmware in post

You need to download the launcher from gateway's website. Put it on your INTERNAL micro SD, under the back cover.

Then scan the QR code in the person's post below with Cubic Ninja.

After you get to the gateway menu, first thing to do is backup sysnand. Copy the nand dump to your computer. Then format emunand. Remove the internal micro sd card and format sysnand (in the 3ds settings menu, not gateway).

That's about it... then just put .3ds/.3dz on the gateway microsd and select to bring up menu.

Start cubic ninja and scan this qr code while your 3ds has an internet connection

Need Gateway launcher.dat on the micro sd under the back plate too.

here is a guide i made on exactly how to do everything.

basically insert cubic ninja, create qr code and scan the code above, then you are in gateway menu, take out the cubic ninja and insert gateway card and boot gateway mode.

oh you have the 64 gig cards too.

you can use 1 for the 3ds and the other one for gateway.

but if you do the one for 3ds, make sure you format as fat32, and the put the launcher.dat file on the root of the sd card.

the other sd card is for the gateway, and you will want to format that as exfat.

A N3DS only supports up to 32 gb for a microSD

Nice. Can I make one suggestion? Backup emunand. Both after you format it and periodically after installing games.

Download the guide from Gateway 3DS official website. Basically you back up your nand from the Gateway menu, copy it to PC. Then when that's done, choose format emuNAND. I'm pretty sure that's it?

What can I use to format it to fat32? Windows itself doesn't do it

ok so theres a couple solutions to that....
first did you make sure that the switches are set so that they are able to be written to?

Are you using a microsd to SD adapter? There's usually a small switch on the side that is write protection.

Yes i'm using an adapter, and yes I check and the switch is not on lock.

Could it just be that the SD Card Adapter is old and crappy? I can't think of anything else other than that
