I just installed USB Loader GX on my vWii, and everything is in order, except that it will not recognize my Sandisc Cruizer, no matter which USB drive it's in. I tried it in my original Wii, and it works just fine. Is there any way to fix this?

If it matters or not, my cIOS's are installed to 56/249 and 57/250, IIRC. My SD card is recognized in the program, although on the text list of games, no text will show up, so I had to go to channel view to see what games I had. :\

Thanks!!!

Weird... I've never seen the 16 GB ones where I live

Do you think that may have to do with it not working?
That really sounds like you have a counterfeit drive. I've never even heard of a flash drive being marked as 15GB.
But yeah, the Wii U provides less power to its data USB port than the Wii does. That's the only other thing I can think of.

What External Storage Devices Can Be Used With Wii U?

Applies to: Wii U Deluxe, Wii U Basic
The Wii U systems offer internal storage for game save data and downloadable software and you can expand the storage memory by connecting an external USB-linked hard disc drive.
To ensure maximum performance between your Wii U and an external storage device, we recommend using a hard-disc drive (HDD) with a dedicated power source (i.e., using an A/C adapter). Due to the wide range of external storage devices, usability and performance will vary.
Nintendo cannot guarantee the availability of all models. Please visit the websites listed below for information on each manufacture's latest models.

Directly from nintendo website regarding the wiiu

said this on some other thread yeah the wiiu has a shortage of self power trough usb doors so you need a y cable or a self powered hdd.

Take a look at this page. Any company, including SanDisk, doesn't (and to my knowledge never has) made 15GB storage media of any kind.
However, oddly enough SanDisk did make 12GB micro SD cards:

Yeah, I've been looking online for the past day, and I've found nothing official about 15GB drives of any sort, just people complaining about them not working. I'm thinking that you have a fake drive, and the Wii U is just rejecting it flat-out

Just a crazy thought: Maybe the drive is a cheap copy that some company palmed off as an official SanDisk product. It could be a poorly made 16GB drive that has so many bad sectors that it's < 15GB.
