So im using Nintendont loader v3.307 and in the loader the pro controller works fine in the loader and in the games Paper mario, mario sunshine. but when i load any other game, it says player one but doesnt work, if i turn it off and turn it back on and mess with the wiimote stuff for like 20 mins i get it to work, but next time it still wont work, so whats wrong?

Did you get it online/is it a 3rd party controller?

hmm why does it work with some games and not others?

Because compatibility is wonky with 3rd party controllers. Because of their slight differences from the real thing (especially with how bluetooth signals are broadcasted/received), you will get lucky and have a game correctly patched occasionally, but there's always a high probability that it will not work with any given game

This is why for Nintendo I always buy official stuff.

A. It's built to last usually
B. The knockoffs aren't
C. The knockoffs always have a hitch usually

Only thing I took the chance on a knockoff was the Gamecube Adapter.. Cheap China clone of the Nintendo one and worked just as well. Wasn't because I couldn't afford the Nintendo one.. I just couldn't find it without a ridiculous markup

Any chance of nintendont ever having support for 3rd party controller, or even like a fan made patch of somekind cause there is no chance of me getting an official controller any time soon

Nope, it's just how libWUP is coded and how (shoddily/hackily) 3rd party controllers are built. The current compatibility is pretty much where it sits, unless Fix94 sits down and spends some SERIOUS time with libWUP
