Hi,

Is there any possible way to create a game backup on the N3DS?

I read that you can use the gateway web exploit for firmware 9.2 and lower but I believe this is only for the 3DS and not N3DS.

I also read this post:
https://gbatemp.net/threads/rom-headers-question.381164/page-2#post-5335271

but I dont know if anyone has actually got this working yet.

Thanks in advance for any info!

Regards,
Johnny

Like cearp said, it's currently impossible, but since you can't run backups on the N3DS yet, why would you want to dump the game in the first place?

According to my knowledge, unless I am understanding wrong: The Sky3DS and QQ3DS can both run retail .3DS backups.

Thanks.

Ah, right. For some reason I always forget about Sky3DS. So you're trying to get a save file from a retail cart to work on your N3DS while using Sky3DS? Because if not, and you just want to be able to play your game without having to carry around a bunch of cartridges, I would suggest getting a copy of the game online. It might be illegal, but considering you own the game, it's no more illegal than any other of this flashcart business.

If you have a save on a retail cart that you want on Sky3DS, I assume your best bet would be to borrow someone else's 3DS, not a N3DS. I say this without knowing how dumped roms and their saves work with Sky3DS, though.
