I searched everywhere. There's no such download. There's no such tutorial on how to get a key or whatever. All I can find is "enter your key", but where do I get that key from?

There's no download because it's a hex code. Punch it into a hex editor - > save as Slot0x25keyx.bin.

seems to me to be a better idea to ask a person than a search engine...tut.
How can a line of hex be illegal to post lol
its against GBAtemp rules, and just for the record anything could be a line of Hex code, if you look at it in a hex editor......lets just share romz 1 line of hex at a time.....nice bypass of the law right :tpi:

lol, imagine all the posts it would take. And the most hilarious part would be seeing who would actually bother building ROMs out of all these lines with an hex editor

Posting hex lines of roms would be incredibly impractical in terms of a means of distribution. Would not be an entirely accurate comparison. If you were able to post line by like hex of an entire game, that's basically the same as just providing the rom file.

But unlike that game, the encryption key here is just a short string of numbers/letters and it in itself is not a product or thing that could be purchased anywhere and thereby "stolen" when showed to the public.

I don't see how a line of seemingly random set of numbers and letters can be copyrighted. But it apparently is due to USA's ***ked up copyright laws. So that's just how it is right now unfortunately. So this forum has to obey that DMCA take down requests or risk getting sued. That's why they don't allow that to be posted here.

When I was young (like 9) and first learned about hex I thought about printing entire ROMs on paper in hex, and selling to people to scan in and reconstruct...:P
