You're welcome, now that you say that I do get the feeling of the Japanese type lettering. Your logo is growing on me fast, I think it'd be cool to have an alternative choice of it with the subtitle ~a fading city~ in case we do choose yours then we can choose which subtitle to have. Thanks again for supporting us.

I never knew that was being actively updated, I'll now be checking it our regularly. And yes this topic tends to fade in and out sometimes, but you can't really say much with no further developments. But thanks for trying to keep it alive.

And, what if you guys reinsert some of the already translated text to the game? I mean... yeah, why not? it would be useful for testing purposes and also to show some captures with some progress so the topic doesn't feels "dead"... Also, if the topic have some movement maybe more people could appear here to show their "love" to the project :b

Or maybe flame1234 just prefers his advances on the script remain "silent", so nobody is going to bug him asking for updates or something like that? xd

So what is the next step? Is there more text to translate or another difficulties to overcome? n.n

Yes, most of the translation is done but there is still more to do, it is getting done though.

The next step once it's completely done is to have someone else who knows Japanese check it over and see if it's all good.
If you know anyone please send them our way, it should be a relativity easy and quick task compared to the actual translation. Thanks again to Flame1234 for helping us thus far.

After this we can begin inserting it and then start editing. So still a ways to go but we are always getting closer and closer.

I'll be working on making the progress chart on the first page better and a more accurate. So be sure to keep an eye on that first post.

Also. I think the W.I.P Translation page will need an update on our status.

With the images that need to be translated it still cannot be done until someone is able to make the files compress back to their proper file format. We only know how to decompress.

Another thing is we need to get our tool fixed up to do the things we need it to do, like actually import and new features to help make the script editing go smoother.

We still need to figure a way to add subtitles to the videos without actually editing the videos itself, so like hard coding them in. As we do not want to include copyrighted material.
As well we need to do a Variable Width Font hack so all the English text looks even better then it does now.

And as far as I can think right now this is where we currently stand.

There's a special GUI for xdelta right now on rhdn that allows you to change the size of the buffer.
If you set it big enough (more than iso size, at least), you can reduce the patch size drastically - meaning it's far less likely to include a bunch of copyrighted full still frames this way.
Don't write off hard subs this fast

Can't you simply bundle FFMPEG with you patcher?
You would extract the videos, inject subtitles with FFMPEG, repack the videos.

I hope they do an occidental release on Pc and Ps4 sometime in the future... yeah, one man can dream u.u
