1) Eshop games supported? Or is it as long as .3ds, it will play?
2) Doesn't support CIA - what is that anyway
3) With the 10 game restriction move, how is the blue button switch? Is there a quick option or do I have to press the blue button 15 times if I want to play game 15?
4) Any issues with game saves or are they all kept on the device and loads it when I play the particular game.
5) Online supported for all games?

Thanks!

1. eShop is a no no. Tried with a few .3DS file formats, comes up as unrecognized.
2. CIA files are installed onto the system's internal storage, SKY3DS emulates a game cart
3. The cartridge remembers the location of the last game you played. If you are going to play multiple games at a time/you change a lot, put a few games on at a time. When you press the button it cycles down the list of games so if you had 15 games and wanted to play #13 on the list (assuming you start at #1) you'd have to press it 12 times. Probably take you a minute and a half tops.
4. I haven't had any issues with game saves. I know you can back up and restore them but I noticed that if I put the same game on a different microSD card, the save file wouldn't be found. This is while I was having issues with dodgy microSD cards though, probably due to that.
5. You can play the .3DS roms online but they use public headers sourced by SKY if I remember correctly. I don't think anyone has been banned yet for using the headers publicly available (there is a thread with a bunch of speculation on this forum category) but if you wanted to source other headers or use your own I believe it's a possibility. I don't play online and don't intend to with SKY.

1)What do you mean e-Shop games ?If you buy them, you can play them no problem, yes, if you're asking whether or not you can download e-Shop games using Sky3DS somehow for free, no you can't.

2)CIA, is basically a game format that e-shop games use, what's good about CIA is you don't have to edit game headers in order to play online, this is kind of irrelevant to Sky3DS, since you will have to use Diskwriter which edits the game header for you.

In short, yes, you can only use .3ds roms.

3)Still the same, if you want to switch games, you will have to press the button 15 times, yes.

4)Every game save as far as I understand acts like a retail cartridge game save, since the system believes that you're using a retail cartridge.

5)Yes.

Thanks guys very helpful. Sucks about the blue button scroll through. Wish it was like gateway but then again gateway doesn't work on N3DS which is why I want sky. Yes I know it might but not yet.

When I say eshop games - I mean do games like shovel knight work on sky3ds? For example, shovel knight .3ds will that work like all the other normal full games or do eshop titles not work?

No, you can't play eshop games dumped to 3ds format on sky3ds!, You can ONLY play backups of retail game cartridges in 3ds format!
Yes, you can play eshop games if you bought them legally in the eshop!

Really - didn't know thanks for confirming
