Same here - Sun PM

Hopefully it comes sooner rather than later.

None of the UK sellers seem that great all round.

Ah well.

Dave

when you ordered it, did it come to £64?

I checked my card statements and they took £67.xx, I emailed them asking why and this was their reply

"Dear Tony,

Thanks for your order from New3DSCard.co.uk.

As you known, the flashcarts is forbidden to sell in UK,

of course, our sellers can't use UK bank the receive the payment.

All sellers like us use the oversea bank to receive the pament.

So, the payment transfer between oversea banks,so, the transcation fees exist, and different banks the fees is different too.
We can't control it, because we only use the bank online payment gateway to receive the payment.

Wish you can understand that.

Best Regards
Sandy"

was you charged a little more than you thought? they always reply around 2:30 am aswell which leads me to believe they are not uk based but have someone in the UK with some stock and gets them to post it...

Hi Tony,

I ordered around 10pm Sun

Mon 3am I get a "processing" email

Tue 3am I received a "Shipped from UK warehouse"

My order total was £55 but billed around £57.50 (foreign transaction)

Its basically as far as I'm concerned a UK domain run by Chinese etc - I just hope it turns up (And soon)

In hindsight I should have just bought from the likes of Yeahgeek but I wanted it here asap.

Anyway still time :)

Keep me updated with your progress please.

Dave

One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I wonder if I could recommend that to some emulation devs that perhaps the sound could use some smoothing out to simulate those old TVs
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way

Just give it a try, but honestly if you have a 3DS you can play DS games without a card just off the internal SD card
