Is there any reason why ROMs like Super Mario Kart do not work? And can I somehow fix that in order to play properly?

Thanks!

Well, I composed something rather than ripping Nintendo games.. AFAIK blargSnes has no element in it that actually violates Nintendo's EULA, and it would be good to keep it that way.

I faced a reproducible crash when playing A link to the Past on BlargSNES version 1.2.

When entering the second temple (desert temple), and going up through the left-hand passage, then heading straight to the room to the left, where the key is sitting on top of a pillar, the player is required to use the boots to dash into the pillar, and make the key fall. However, using the dash results in the game crashing every single time I try, making the game unbeatable in it's current state.

Does anyone have any idea what could cause this? I tried disabling the software render, on both v1.2 and v1.2.1, to no avail.

As cool as it sounds, I personally agree that the emulator should stay away from copywriting sounds. It's one thing people using roms they don't own, it's another thing entirely for the emulator itself to contain anything that might be a legal grey area.

Hi! Just tested Tetrix Attack, works as a charm, I had many hours of fun with that game on the 3DS =) ... I also tried Top Gear, the sound is nearly perfect, a shame that the game itself is glitched... Also I really miss Seiken Densetsu 3 translation, push me to sound test... Anyway, is there any kind of bug tracker where the users can give feedback regarding compability for the BlargSnes?

EDIT: I found that in the beginning of the topic, here http://wiki.gbatemp.net/wiki/BlargSnes_Compatibility_List

Oh, and keep up the good work, I can see a bright future for the emulator!

I just got a 2DS, so I can test this!

Mario's Super Picross (Mario no Super Picross) doesn't work. It just freezes at the title screen.
Super Famicom Wars doesn't work either. It freezes halfway through the intro before crashing hard enough to put me back at the 3DS System Menu. Skipping the intro seems to work well, though.

If we ran this off gateway couldn't staple butter have it run from the card to get full access? (just a thought)
For one thing, Gateway actually provides less access due to Gateway themselves blocking access to many services with homebrew. That's why .3ds files are not recommended for homebrew, and why homebrew does not have sound when .3ds is used.

Umm... If I understand you correctly, already do this. As you can see from the Original Post, there are already .3ds and .cia builds available. Plus, we have more limited access when we run it as a cartridge; the .3ds version does not/can not support sound.
