Not sure really. I'm not sure if Gateway leaves traces on the system nand outside of the modified DS profile it uses to load the exploit itself, most of what gateway does is on the emulated nand on the SD card, and playing a DS game and not redoing the exploit installer afterwards is enough to remove the DS profile exploit, so unlesss the person who buys it off of you is smart enough to poke around in sysnand I doubt anyone but Nintendo's maintenance techs would be able to tell you did anything.

it's not that bad plus it's still the easiest way to install the ds profile exploit.

4.5 used a ds exploit did it not? Thats why I was trying to figure out what he was after. If its just putting everything back to stock just remove the exploit and the emunand from the SD card

To remove all trace of Gateway (assuming that you're using the DSmode exploit) then just run a DS game. Doesn't matter if it's retail or a flash cart. You can easily install it again if needed (you can even use an R4 if you lose the blue gateway card). And remove the launcher.dat obviously. If you're using the browser exploit then don't even worry about it, just remove the launcher.dat.

ok i looked up the browser exploit, if you use this to install the gateway stuff, playing ds games doesnt get rid of the thing? and deleting the launcher.dat removes all the emuNAND stuff too?

deleting the launcher.dat file does not remove emunand. You have to manually delete that as well. Thats I use separate SD cards just for this type of thing that you're trying to do.
