Hacking Questions on Separatting SysNAND and emuNAND

Full story:
Ok, I know that you guys would think I haven't read enough, but I did indeed. It's just my case is some how different from those tutorials

My had 9.2 and now 4.5 systemNAND and 9.2 EmuNAND (still linked) but I would like to format emuNAND to unlink them cause I saw mmn and his Post and totally agree with him. Also, my big SD is only 16GB big and had tons of small games, RE: REvelations (the biggest one), ambassador games, and apps... in it, can still be played in SysNAND (low save encrypt games) so I don't really need to redownload them my emuNAND cause I'll run out of space. I don't really need to access eshop either in both NAND 'cause 4.5 sysNAND shouldn't be updated to 9.4 at this moment, and 9.2 emuNAND could get cia deleted when enter Nintendo Network.

What I want to do now is formatting my emuNAND to unlink it, and install some cia games in it so my library will spread widely from SysNAND, emuNAND, to GW's micro SD (I don't need my games duplicated).

What should I do? Correct me as I'm unsure...

1. Backup all data (D1) from SD card to PC, plug it back it.
2. Load up emuNAND 9.2, go to system format, turn on wifi to check if it ca be formatted
3. Format it, at this point, my NNID will be unlinked from the system. The system will be restarted, and NNID will be unlinked from emuNAND
4. The 3DS will automatically boot into sysNAND now. Then Load emuNAND again.
5. Wait for it to create Data Management folder (D2) in newly formatted emuNAND, then turn 3DS off.
6. Plug SD into computer to recopy all data backed up before formatting (which is now only belongs to sys)

Done, then I'll have both of them unlink, yet each of them has their own D1 and D2 separated folder.

Some questions:

1. In step 3, will removing NNID from my emuNAND cause any effect in SysNAND? Such as losing the ability to play all my purchased games curruently in sysNAND, or having to re-enter it if I update the sysNAND in the future, redownloading all games in sysNAND, or the worst, loose my NNID (as Nintendo checked the system in step 2 and confirmed that I formatted my 3DS so the games should not be in the card next time I enter eShop... Will they find out?)

2. If there is nothing to worry about NNID, then can games in SysNAND still be played?

3. In Step 4, when let sysNAND load up without finding its folders (deleted before in formatting step 3), will it create any other data management folder? 'Cause it will mess things up to recopy or it will just make the whole backup things useless.

Plot twist: I want to separate my sys and emu NANDs, but leave the sysNAND and format emu one. Don't need to relink NNID in emunand or any eshop interaction in it. What should I do? What to be careful? As my NNID will be removed from emuNAND. Then later, in the future, when I decide to enter eshop, update my 4.5 sysNAND, i'll have to re-enter NNID, then they will detect and delete all my usable games in the SD card 'cause they know I formatted once. To this point, it gets really complicated for me... >.<

I know that they will delete cia games in emunand, but by any chance, my legit games in systemNAND will be deleted after formatting then enter eshop? Agggg!

1. No, formatting emunand shouldn't affect sysnand. Your NNID will still be linked in sysnand.
2. Yes, the games can still be played in sysnand.
3. What I did was backup the SD before formatting. Then, after formatting, and after pressing OK to reboot, I took the SD out and let sysnand boot. I turned off the 3ds, restored the SD backup (I don't remember if this was actually needed or not), put the SD back in, then loaded up emunand.

There's one thing you and a lot of others have a misconception about, too: Your NNID can be linked to both sysnand and emunand at the same time, even if they're unlinked. NNID linking is console specific, not NAND specific.
I can confirm that because I did the following steps and everything worked fine:

1. Create emunand, unlink it by formatting it
2. Update emunand, re-link NNID in unlinked emunand
3. Access e-shop and buy games
4. Backup emunand and inject an original sysnand backup into emunand
5. Update emunand, NNID is already linked from sysnand backup
6. Access e-shop and redownload games bought in the other, unlinked emunand

If you read those steps carefully and see that everything went fine, your concerns should be mitigated considerably.
Also, only "DLC" cias get deleted when you access the eshop. "Application" ones and "Patch" ones don't. That means that pretty much only paid-dlc will get deleted, and everything else will stay intact, like games and updates and their saves.

That is, clearly, what I need to hear!
Anyway, here were what I did:
1. loaded up 9.2 emu from sys, formatted it (the SD was backed up before).
2. Removed SD when systemNAND load up, turned off 3DS
3. Insert SD, Booted emuNAND, processed through initial settings.
4. emu created Data folder. Done.

I didn't link NNID in my 9.2 freshly formatted before, didn't update it either. By the way, I remember reading somewhere and people said that NNID was stored in SD card, under specific files. I know that NNID is console specific, not NAND specific, and even linked with both NANDs at the same time or any NAND created with the original console after reading your post . But what made me confused was If Nintendo checked and knew that I already "removed NNID" in emunand format step, and next time in the future, I use use any of my NAND to enter eshop, I'm appeared to be having all games in my SD, which shouldn't be happen after formatting step. Then they will delete my games or ban me from eshop, or even brick my 3DS... But what you did in those steps fairly explained the NNID thing for me.

I have one of my legit game corrupted (Steam World). I now want to redownload it from the shop. Can I do it by the following steps?
1. Take out the 9.2 formatted emuNAND which I don't want to update.
2. Inject 9.2 before formatting. This one will be linked with the system as it was not formatted.
3. Update it (9.2 before formatting) to 9.4, get into eshop (do I have to log in my NNID?)
4. Download the game, it will be saved on both sysNAND 4.5 and that 9.2 emuNAND shared data folder.
5. Take out the SD, extract the upadted, linked 9.4 emuNAND, inject the unlinked 9.2 that I took out from step 1.
6. Wala! I have my game back on sysNAND and my emuNAND still unlinked and at 9.2

Is there anything wrong with this process? mmn ?

Yeah, I tried that, it doesn't install the game to sysnand, just to the linked emunand :\
You could just download it to unlinked emunand, though. It doesn't need to be on sysnand.

But will login to that unlinked emunand using NNID allow me to download all my games?

P/s: I've just got "An error has occurred" message when enter NNID in that unlinked emuNAND. Have you ever encounter this problem?
Btw, I also got error code: 022-2634 for eshop on linked 9.4 emuNAND (googled it and found that I have to sign in NNID in my sysNAND to fix that). But since my sysNAND is 4.5, I couldn't use NNID. So I guess I have to use my unlinked emuNAND to install the game.

No, I haven't had that problem. My sysnand is 9.2, though.
