with gateway you can play ANY game no matter what so whats the point? Just so he can't read his homescreen or any popup that comes up on the system

Some DLCs and game updates only in JP eshop, it's convenient to update from eshop directly rather than find cia update on website.

Please understand, there are people that are trying to make region changing possible, but it's not yet, and so far, gateway dg files aren't the proper way to do it.

Are there 95 US themes? There's only the 3.1 pack that has 75 themes.

Japan exclusive themes like Monster Hunter 4G looks very nice.

You asked why would someone want to change their region, I gave you an answer. Don't overreact by acting like a kid.
