Do the clones have more/better feature or something?
Like the r5sdhc is $92 when sky3ds is $88
Why is copy more then original

you know that makes literally zero sense, right?Because most probably the fake ones are made by the sky team as well. They're priced higher so that you purchase the sky 3ds and not the clones, as the clones are definitely made in fewer quantity than the original. Lesser quantity = more price, and vice versa.

sure, it makes sense to people who don't understand how the economy works.actually what he said makes a lot of sense but not to everyone.

Germans can't into money well.>>Take original product or IP you own
>>rebrand it as knockoff thats costs more
>>make profit off of fake clones of your own product

"hey guys i have a great idea, let's saturate the market we have already have a monopoly on with knockoffs of our own product and spend money rebranding, promoting, and distributing each of these knockoff products"Germans can't into money well.
Dude, you aren't getting it... They sell the shitty rebranded clone higher, so people will keep buying the original. It makes perfect sense from a marketing standpoint."hey guys i have a great idea, let's saturate the market we have already have a monopoly on with knockoffs of our own product and spend money rebranding, promoting, and distributing each of these knockoff products"
and I'm the one who can't into money?

It makes no sense for them to, because the only people that would have a reason to buy a Sky3DS are people on 9.3+. If they think the Sky3DS is too expensive then they have no other options anyway, other than you know, buying games.Dude, you aren't getting it... when they had the monopoly of the market, they needed to establish their price as the "going rate"........easiest way to do this is to establish a "competitor" that is pretty much the same price or more.....then people looking for a card will think "oh well thats the correct price"......R4,3dslink,orange3ds where the exactly same tactic, but used to try make gateway look overpriced,
it also has the advantage of making people more likely to choose your product, if your product is displayed on each resellers page twice, statistically speaking, people would be twice as likely to choose your product
PS, marketing was never built on logic, its designed to work on peoples sub-conscious
its a website, and a few different stickers.....hardly like they are making alternate shells and PCB's......literally, all it is is printing out a batch of alt sticker, its not a military operation.it's not very easy for a small volume manufacturer like this servicing an incredibly niche market to just go and spend the money to set up entirely new companies to sell clones of the original product that are explicitly made to NOT sell to promote the sales of a smaller amount of cheaper products, that kind of money loss is pretty hard to take, and kind of pointless when nobody buys the original product anyway

truth is, i dont think anyone has really look, clones could be cards that have failed quality control and been sold off cheap to resellers under a different brand, i.e maybe sky3ds just badged up all the remaining red button cards as R5, to maintain their own brand name and start selling the blue button cards exclusively under the sky3ds brandthis makes sense, except the part that they are overpriced for you purchase the sky3ds
other person claimed that they created fake clones in order to create a fake sense of choice... so the original looks good enough to have clones
the main reason to fake clones being expensive should be because they are not so mass produced like the original card, for example they make 2 sky3ds for eveyr clone
but even this theory has a flaw, if it was a clone, wouldn't be a exact card of the original card with just a different sticker\brand?
i don't see a person spending money and resources to make a second schematic just for a fake clone card
unless... the clones are revisions of the original card, or versions of a previous stage of the final card... for mass producing the cards they had to make tests of the thing... they had to make different designs of the thing.. maybe the clones are the leftovers from that different designs...
