So my 3DS's top screen is broken, and getting the bios for when Citra 3DS eventually becomes playable would be just about the only use left for it now (besides dumping 3DS games I buy).

So, is it possible to use the Ninjhax exploit to dump the bios or game rom to the SD Card? If not, what about Gateway?

EDIT:
Also, would it be possible to create a 3DS rom from the eShop version of the game?

Is it possible to dump 3DS games/saves with an attachment for a computer that you could just plug the games directly into?

You can repair your 3DS for really small money around 8$ for screen and 2$ for glass if its broken, another 20 for new casing with hinges. Repair is taking around 30min if you are really careful (12min if its not your first 3DS)

:wtf: Wow Nintendo probably would have charged something outrageous like $50.

I just might do that, thanks :D

I even found the charging port:

I thought that would have been a part of the motherboard and unreplaceable lol

I was thinking that, as well. NeoRegia kind of undercut how difficult the process may be for someone unfamiliar with the hardware.

Ok maybe I am looking on this subject from my perspective, either way with a bit of skill and patient it is quite easy task to repair 3DS... Comparing to some other repairs that I am doing from time to time. I love to fix Apple tablets starting from ipad 3 ;)

Be aware that if you order from DX, that while cheap, they are really slow. And just because they say something is in stock doesn't mean it's in stock. If you want to save money above all great, but if you want these things sooner than later, go elsewhere. This is especially true with Chinese New Year coming up in about a month, that just slows them down even more.

If you really could get Nintendo to fix it for $50, that's really not a bad deal, considering you'd have genuine parts (DX stuff is often fake and as cheap in quality as it is in price) as well as not having to do it yourself (no easy feat on a 3DS) plus you'd have a warranty on the work.

So umm is this possible or not? The topic got derailed by the repair thing lol
There's no need for extracting a BIOS, let alone that there is no BIOS afaik. The only thing that would need to be dumped in the future is the bootrom, but that would need to be decapped as it gets overwritten in memory not long after boot.

What about dumping game roms? Or would I need to get some attachment for my PC to dump my games?

this days only thing that you need to make dump of rom is exploitable 3ds, big sd card and gateway launcher (not gateway itself ) more info you can find in topic about ctf, fallow it to the point when you run gateway launcher and then instead of formatting emunand choose rom dumping tool... that's all

Gateway launcher just for dumping roms require <=9.2? I kinda wanted to know the question in topic too since Ninjhax works in 9.9 and I am on 9.9 or is Powersaves still my only option if my main goal is to extract my own headers?
