Homebrew lolSnes -- SNES emulator for DS

Just drop the project. DS doesn't have the resolution to display the game correctly, so there's no reason to try. 3ds and phones are here. I rather someone work on a gba emulator for the ds.

What a productive idea you got there Ulieq:

1. Find a thread about a project - any project will be ok.
2. Tell the project-leader stop whatever he/she is doing.
3. Propose instead something YOU want to be done.

This will not only make you extremly popular BUT you will get a LOT of projects YOU want done!

Not to mention the logic there. Just because the screen lacks some 32 pixels in height, this shouldn't even be attempted?


lolSnes is dormant, but if I make core fixes to blargSnes, they will go in lolSnes too.

if the emulator doesn't stretch it and lets you play with pixel perfect visuals, I wouldn't mind a little cropping. Old CRT TVs from the 90s had cropping anyway

I wish. The author plans on back porting any changes from the 3DS version to the DS version if possible. I wish a certain GBA emulator would also receive such treatment, but oh well. At least StapleButter is still contributing to the N3DS scene!

Try the new RetroArch emulators. Be warned they're early alpha and they only work good on the new 3DS. The thread is here and the download link is below. It supports FCEUMM (NES), nxengine, Gambatte (Gameboy), gPSP (GBA), mednafen (VB, NGP, WSWAN), SNES9x (SNES), catsfc (SNES), picodrive (Genesis), and Genesis Plus GX. Have fun. BTW, catsfc is the best snes emulator on n3DS. It supports all the extra chips.

If you do, get a New 3DS. The emulators run much better.
