So I wanted to try my luck at running GameCube iso's on my Wii using a USB,so I installed wiiflow,I formatted my USB to fat32 and it has a cluster size of 32kb,I have ios58 running, and USB loader gx never recognizes my USB,on Wii flow it let's me choose USB1 as a partition, and my USB lights up like if it was in use,but when I choose to play games off USB the list comes up blank.I have my files properly, with a folder for each game with its game I'd,and the .iso named game.iso.Also,my dios mios wad installs, but never shows on the Wii menu, and I'm sure it installs correctly because no error shows up while installing, and the Wii reboots after. So my question is can anybody help me figure out how I can play these games on my Wii?Any help is really appreciated!I made an account looking for help from this awesome community!

Please run the latest syscheck app through hbc (download it somewhere....) and post the results here.

Okay so I downloaded syscheck through the homebrew website, and I ran it,it ran fine until it got to where it checks the iOS vulnerabilities and the blue bar goes up to more than half and it freezes and the Wii light blinks on and off,any ideas how to fix it?

Can you try downloading another copy of syscheck from a different website? Its possible that the version you downloaded is just corrupt....

Also, if you don't mind me asking, why are you using dios mios for gcn games and not Nintendont? Nintendont is a much safer option as it doesn't touch your Wii's NAND at all (runs entirely in ram). I know the game compatibility is higher with dios mios and perhaps that's why you went that route, but I was jw...

You don't have any CIOs's installed for use with a USBloader. Now technically for gcn games, you shouldn't need any, but perhaps the USBloader you're using is having a conflict because its looking for a CIOS that isn't there. You're using Wiiflow? Try the latest version of USBloader gx, I know for a fact it will let you run gcn games through it without any CIOS's installed as I've done it myself. Of course, I was using Nintendont in conjunction with it instead of Dios Mios, but it shouldn't matter. Your MIOS is installed so that should be "fine and dandy."

CIOS's are required for loading Wii backups, whether through USB/sd or a dvd-r (if you're on an older console that disc backups can be loaded on), but they aren't technically required for gcn games... If you ever intend to play wii backups without a modchip, you WILL need those, but lets stick with one problem at a time. Let's get this resolved before we play around with anything else.....

Lets toss wiiflow aside for now. Just download the latest USBloader gx 3.0 and slap that on your sd card and load it through hbc and see if you can load any of your gcn games okay.

Let's hold off on Nintendont for now, we'll try and resolve the Dios Mios issue for now :P.

Also I noticed in the setting for USB loader gx,there is a loader settings tab,and on it it says boot/standard and it has it to iOS 249,maybe this is the problem?Should I switch it to iOS 58?

Yes switch it to ios58. I don't want to touch anything on your NAND just yet, so don't go installing any CIOS's....

If your isos are on a usb device, go ahead and change it to usb :). Also if you don't mind me asking, what format are your gcn backups in? iso or another format? Certain formats could cause an issue.... that's why I'm asking...

perfect! Also there should be a setting in usbloader gx to utilize dios mios, I'm not sure if its set to that by default, so if you're games don't show up/work this time around, go into the settings and make sure its set to use that for gcn games, let me know how it works out :D

I actually don't have dios mios,do I need to turn that off?And would this be easier if I were to put them in my SD card instead?
