I think everyone is tired of the current system which takes like 3-4 pages which are just asking the same questions to tick boxes but as for the future it'd be a lot better if Nintendo upgraded to:

Sign In > Click Redeem Nintendo Points > Type the code > Redeem

There. This would be so much better!

The surveys are super short and easy so I'm not to sure why the complaints. I take them pretty seriously because I want them to know that I like certain things like HD remakes so they will keep doing them.

As far as I know you don't have to do the survey to get your points, you just get additional points for filling the forms out.
that does make filling out the forms worth it

also did anyone catch the form for the amiibos and how they ask for youre input if youd like the idea of rare limited edition diferent colored amiibos.

wonder if this hints something?

Every time I buy Mario, Kart, Smash, Pikmin, Legend of Zelda etc. my answer is always:
"I bought the game because I'm a fan of the series".

I think I might be contributing the the reason people only see Nintendo making rehash games...

Wish they could make a better form that remembers previous details / answers.

Why did you buy Bayonetta 2:

Because I wanted to play it.

Just.. If they're going to have a survey then have better questions than "Why did you buy X game?".

The 50 points' ones?

Like they ever use it... (When I was registering SSBB I was really tempted to say "SO I COULD HACK YOUR CONSOLE AND INSTALL ILLEGAL PIRACY HOMEBREW!" but then I remembered I had a lot of Club nintendo points saved up so I didn't want to get banned.)

Pretty sure they stated that some decisions in one game in the past (vague because I can't remember which game it was) was at least partially influenced by those surveys. They do check them.

Yeah...in case of Bayonetta 2, I don't think the people working nintendo surveys are mature enough to deal with the real reason I bought that game...

Naah...you're not interested in why I bought bayonetta 2.
You opened this one...but why? It's not like it's affecting YOUR reason to buy it, right?
Seriously...you're not a nintendo employee. Why do you care?
...you're not even getting nintendo coins for it.
C'mon...there may be children watching this. My answer may not be fit for them.
Dude...you're not going to stop opening spoiler tags, are you?
Okay, okay...I'll tell you. But damnit, I warned you. I bought it for...
The storyline. :tpi:

Well, the surveys are a benefit to Nintendo. It might even be the whole reason CN exists, so that Nintendo can collect market data, opinions and such. Such information can be pretty valuable (to the degree that some companies pay big bucks for such information) as it helps them to decide the best course of action at all times, making for more satisfied customers, and a fatter wallet in Nintendo's pocket :P
By helping them, you are also helping yourself to get more Club Nintendo points, so it's a win win.

What if all customers all wrote "Sonic Boom is the worst Wii U game I've ever played" would they stop selling it? No, the damage's already done so they can't put a stop on it but they could remove it from the eShop and request Sega to not make any more prints.

It would sure let them know not to make any more games like it in the future, which would be helpful. :)

Well, the surveys are a benefit to Nintendo.
And yet the value in surveys lies in customers filling them out. If your surveys suck, your data will suck. Nintendo's questions are stupid and the surveys are not intuitive / easy to fill out. They're tedious to complete and take a very long time. Why can't it remember certain things, e.g. who bought the game? I'm always going to be that male with advanced gaming experience and of 22 years (currently). Having to input that every time? If Nintendo cared about this data they'd make better surveys.

That's true. Methinks they should hire a new guy to create surveys as the one they have doesn't seem to be doing a very good job.
