Hacking Would my 32gb class 10 micro SD card work with my gateway?

I just bought this micro SD card after reading on multiple forums that 32gb cards worked, but i stumbled over some that said their card wasn't functioning with the gateway, but it was with other devices. I'm not sure if this problem can be identified prior to buying, let alone using the memory card, but if so, how can I tell whether or not it'll work, or can someone tell me if it'd work?

dude a fake card is a card that its spoofed to show more available space that it has to scam ppl, i bought 2 64 gb sandisk ultra from ebay and they were fakes, they were really 4gb and of very poor quality, so that sucked so much, you can google the tools to know if the card is a fake or not

a fake SD card thinks it has more storage space than it really has. So a fake 32gb is really 16gb. When you max out the 16gb, it starts writing over your files because it thinks it has 32gb.

It might work, you might get scammed, it's a gamble with no name cards. They're never as good as legitimate SD's, so be aware of that when buying one.

Yeah, I knew that I should have been looking for a card with clear branding on it, like SanDisk or Transcend. I'll return this one, is possible, and buy a class 4 SanDisk one for $15.

it's not from Amazon's distribution center. It's from a 3rd party reseller.

Yup, it's fake. How is this even legal? Aren't they misadvertising by listing a product intentionally incorrectly?

Edit: Looked a bit into it and apparently the biggest fake SD card distributors are in China and the middle east, and america never issues consequences on foreign countries for this kind of bullshittery, so I just wasted my money. I'll buy the $20 32gb class 10 SanDisk SDHC card and try to get my money back for this load of crap.

that sucks. I'd just stick with trusted brands and average pricing. If it's too good to be true, price wise, it usually is.

It isn't legal, but who's gonna go through the courts for $5 from an anonymous entity? Even if someone did, the bad guys would just refund the $5 which would end the dispute.

Hmm, not sure since it costs twice as much. I downloaded nearly all of the games that I want (EU an US games at least), and they only came to a total of 25gb. I think I'm gonna stick with the 32gb and buy an 8gb card to mess with .CIAs.

Sound plan. Just select the smaller size. No need to future proof with storage as the prices are always falling.

I load up my kids systems with all the puzzle and "educational" stuff as well as what they want. Makes me feel better at least making it available. They actually do use them occasionally.
