can anyone tell me what this game is?

Okay I played a game years ago for either the PS1 or PS2 and I want to know the name of it because it was an obscure game and I was very young so I dont remember.

The game had a city section were you could get ontop of the buildings and traverse the grating outside the windows like they have in new york city, in fact it could have been new york.
In another section the game had you climb a large building interior with a large spiralling dragon in the centre of the hall, at this section I remember a boss who had a sword like that of Ivy's from soul calibur.
And then finally the last thing I remember of the game was a desert section.

I know its not alot of info but it was a very weird game that I'am sure someone who was a little older at the time would remember, help would be nice because its driving me mad trying to remember what the game is called, I had this same thing happen with brave fencer musashi.

It was third person.
It was the same as no more heroes, Not quiet fitting into any genre, but definitely not horror.

hmmm, my first guess is maybe the early Devil May Cry games, but I don't remember playing any on ps2. I played the 3rd one first.

Look it up, I know it's popular but maybe you don't migrate to that genre so much.

Also, was the dragon a living dragon or just a 'thingie'?

No I played Devil may cry all the way until number 3.

The dragon was an ornament inside a huge hall that has a vertical cylindrical shape.

You can really tell the difference between ps1 and ps2, just depends on your memory,

I've got a ps1 fullset here with videos to match, if it looked THAT old I can just flick through later, it'd stick out like a sore thumb. I feel like I've played something similar too, I loved No More Heroes, it's got that vibe and it's one I'm familiar with.

Hmm well yeah it did, it was one of those games with the old black sky so it was most likely Early PS2.

No I'am a huge fan of team Ico and its not it. The game was just really really weird, I remember playing it a little after soul reaver.

No it wasnt that heavy on the fantasy, it had a real world setting still.

Daft question I know but what about Parasite Eve 2? That starts out in a city which could be something like New York?

No it didnt have the fixed camera angles, but the protagonist looks similar, thats partly why i thought it might be it.
