Hacking Sister updated to 9.4 what to do?

Yesterday I was out with my friends and when I got back I noticed my 3ds was in the living room so I picked it up and booted it. I tried starting ninjhax and got really confused when it didn't work. I checked my 3ds version and it was updated to 9.4 which ofcourse got me really mad as I have been waiting for the ability to use my gateway which has been laying around for about a month now. Is there anything I can do to get back to sysnand 9.0-9.2?

Unfortunately not, unless you happen to have backed up your sysnand beforehand.

Sadly no. The worst part is that I have told my siblings not to touch my 3ds because I knew this would happen.

Well a gateway would be awesome, but it seems that you can't use one. I guess all you could do now is to either wait for gateway to support the new firmware which could take a while, or get a sky3ds. Sorry.

I have a better idea. I get my sister to buy a japanese new 3ds for me.

Sell it and then buy another 3DS with lower firmware.
Buy a Sky3DS.

These are your only options unfortunately. You could always wait for Gateway to support 9.3+ but that could be a long time from now.

For now, you must order new N3DS from (JP maybe still 9.1 or 9.2) and you can sell the current 3DS for saving some money.
The shop nearly my company still have N3DS with 8.1 (because I bought from it 2 weeks ago)

First, you should have taken steps to not update your 3DS
- Remove AP or fill in random stuff in it
- Turn off Wi-Fi
- Somewhere on gbatemp there are posts that tell you how to do that

First thing i did was to prevent any update on any of my 3DS systems (3) as soon as i knew Gateway was comming with 9.2 support

So You can't blame your sister for something you could have prevented

Well this situation is bound to happen the next Nintendo update too, then more people will pop up here saying they updated by accident and now can't use <insert flashcard, sky3ds> anymore.
