I only want to know if there is a way to delete the autoupdate pop-up, I always have my wireless network off, because I'm on 9.2 FW version, but I lend my 3DS to my sis, who turned it on without knowing, and I have that anoying popup as a result, asking me that the update is ready.

I want to delete it, is there a specific folder on the SD card?

format the 3DS. it will make it disappear. I think you don't need to format the SD card so make sure you take it out before doing it or it will get formatted too, making you lose everything inside it.

If I'm not mistaken, a system format does the job.

Formatting the system no longer works (since 7.0). Formatting now requires you to upgdate to the latest version.
I also have the nag screen. Since the update is downloaded to the NAND, theres's no way to delete the update. Just press B when the nag screen pops up and you're good to go.

Delete all your Wi-Fi connections or disable the switch when starting the menu. Nothing else to do

Well, it seems that I'm fucked up, and yes, I tried to format the system but says that the update is necesary. Well, the only thing I can do now is to avoid lending my 3DS to someone who doesn't know, or warn everyone who touches it to no update, until the new exploit is released...

You can mayby block it through the router settings or just turn it off and wait for the Gateway emunand for 9.2.
WiiU is much worse.

i have sysNAND 4.5 and got systemupdate stuff before. I had deleted everything on the SD card except for the gateway game saves

Are you talking about the situation when the 3DS has already downloaded the update? Because just yesterday I formatted my old 8.1 3DS that I want to sell without problems.

you can try setting up some parental controls in case someone you loan it to tries to update it because it can be quite annoying if you don't know the value.

That's very likely because your 3DS didn't have an update downloaded to it, so it naturally thought 8.1 was the most up to date software.
