Welcome my fellow battlefrontians to a project which has been in the works for more than the past 6 months.When i first came to this thread i created it for one purpose which was to share Brodaus's mod with all fans of Star wars Battlefront 2.However then it occurred to me why don't i make my own mod for this game since Brodauses mod was released in secret and wasn't played by half the amount of people who could have played and enjoyed the living hell out of it.So after 6 months of researching and epic failing i can announce that me and my team are currently working towards making a Star Wars Battlefront 2 Portable Restoration Mod that will include all of the working assets that LUCASARTS diddnt give the go ahead for the PSP port for some reason.

Below i will answer the most common Questions and give you information on the modification:

What is this Modification about?​

This Modification is mainly a restoration of all assets which the developers decided not to include in the game (e.g missing maps).But its not only a restoration modification but also a whole game modification.The plan is to change the units for ALL maps and Include in BRAND spanking NEW units which AREN'T EVEN IN IN ANY OTHER SWBF2 version.version. Thats right i am delighted to announce that the developers had plans to include new models of the characters which don't even exist in the PC OR PS2 ports.

What exactly are you restoring?
We are going to be restoring the following things in the First Complete V 1.0 Release:

New planets such as:
Coruscant,Geonosis,Jabbas Palace,Rhen Var,Utupau(Including they're respective modes)

Increased Reinforcement count which will be 10,000 maximum(Sorry but we are Battlefrontians and we like to play long ass matches)

Restored Hero spawn and Defeat Sounds:
You will hear all heroes say things (LIKE e.g Sheev Palpatine will say this when you play as him "Your MASTER is here and he is not Amused")

Restored SIDE sounds and effects:
You will hear the human and CIS commanders informing you of the status of the match.

Play as new heroes:
You can now play as Storm trooper Han and Luke (These were one of few psp exclusive models)

Play as new units:
You can now play as a Jetroopper riflemen

Play new game modes:
I will be editing a few modes so that you can play stuff like WOOKIES VS WAMPAS Conquest OR Ewoks VS jawas

Play PC game modes:
Ever wanted to play the XL and UBER pc game modes? well now you will (This depends on how many of you want this)

Play crazy Impossible Matches:
Ever wanted to see the REPUBLIC VS Strormtroopers or perhaps Rebls vs CIS or even Republic VS Rebels well now you will.

Play as new Monsters from the star wars universe:
Wampas,Wookies,Jawas,Ewoks,Acklay,Geonosians etc....

Play as units from Star wars Episode 1:
Ever wanted to play as the Naboo queen or the Queens guards

Restoration of a few space maps/modes

Restoration of a few land/space vehicles

How can this Mod be Installed and will you be uploading the ISO of the game?​

Dear God no!This Modification will require NO patch or anything like that.Nor will we provide any ISOS. To install this Modification you will need to simply replace an original file which is in the iso with our modified one.But ill explain how to to this when we near release.I will explain how to install the mod via a Step by Step guide showing you how to install the files.

Right so the file is hosted on 4shared. All you need to do to download it is, sign into the website via Google, FB or Twitter and then after 20 seconds of waiting the file will begin downloading. An ISO as i previously stated is NOT provided. You will need to patch your own copy of the game using the

Installation Procedure that i have provided within the zip file.​

I have the mod from a long time ago though.

-Edit: seems to be impossible (or take to long) to import a zombie mode into battlefront.

I have exams wayu to busy so I stopped working on the mod

However I have done everything apart from AI
I doubt I'll ever increase it

Don't know how the other guy did it

Im going to remove 6 map modes fro different areas of the instant action menu
And replace them with
Jabbas palace
Geonosis Conquest ctf and hunt mode
Conquest and ctf
Corucant
Conquest and ctf
Utupau
Conquest and ctf and unique hunt node


The mod in the video isn't minee

I spent a few months and I got all the maps I mentioned above including the original maps working together with new units
By new units I mean rare units which weren't in the psp or ps2 version of bf2

I also managed to add sound to all 4 sides (Cis,Empire, Republic, Rebels scum! )
So the for eaxh team the commander would speak to you informing you of the
attack
I also fixed the hero spawn sounds sio when a hero spawns they speak " Eg This boba fett on the job"


I also increased the max total Conquest tickets aswell as changing units in matches so like Geonosisans on endor Lol


Unfortunately the only problem is increasing the Number of ai units from 10 per match to 24 or 32 on hot which the psp can easily handle because the guy who modded the game before did it

However I intend on continuing or resuming everything with my project after I finish exams so ill spend summer holidays 2015 putting everything together

Hopefully I can increase the Ai

I have actually been extremely busy with school right now
And I won't resume my progress with this until jubw-july time
When exams finish

Hey, I am willing to help create a mod for this too. My goal is to allow pc mods to be played in the psp version as well as all original maps unlocked. I also want to add new game modes, (maybe Inquisitor hunts down Jedi?) Please , let me help you by sending me a guide on how to mod this game.
