I stumbled across the compatibility list today and noticed it had a mere 5 or 6 entries! I've added a couple today, does anybody feel like adding some game that they've tried? Just to make the list a little more worthwhile.

It might seem pointless to do this with a relatively old emulator that is no longer updated, but it remains the best MegaDrive/Genesis emulator on the DS, and works perfectly fine on the 3DS.

Thanks ^_^ Remember to add them alphabetically!

I've actually found a couple of games that work without any cropping on the sides, such as Street Fighter II and Worms. Wonder if there are many more.

Never edited the wiki before. I hope I didn't overstep. I sample tested a few, but would be glad to do more. I did these 4 so far.
Mega Man: The Wily Wars (E) / Not working. Black screen on boot.
Castlevania Bloodlines / Works
Golden Axe / Works
Gunstar Heroes / Works Well. The text seems a little scrunched, though readable.

Thanks all! I'm going to try and update with a few per day, hopefully it will become somewhat comprehensive before too long!

Added:

Aladdin - Works.
The Lion King - Works.
Mickey Mania - Works.
Toy Story - Not working, rom too large.
Virtua Fighter 2 - Not Working, rom too large.

Many of the later games won't work simply because they're over 3MB. I'm thinking it might be worth looking into beta versions of these games that may be a smaller file size (like the Sonic 3D beta). It's a shame there aren't more trimming patches like the Sonic 3 and Knuckles one.

As mentioned before, some games actually run in JenesisDS without cropping on the side due to natively being a lower resolution, such as Street Fighter 2 and Worms. Might be worth finding out of there are any other lower resolution games, as these would be 'recommended' with this emulator.

Added more.

Dragon Ball Z: Buyuu Retsuden - Works. Occasional background corruption.
Knuckles the Echidna in Sonic the Hedgehog 2 - Not working, rom too large.
Micro Machines - Works, but appears to run below full speed when more than 1 opponent. Use Head-to Head mode only. Actually works perfectly without cropping.
Micro Machines Military - Works, but appears to run below full speed when more than 1 opponent. Use Head-to Head mode and other modes without 3 opponents.
Micro Machines Turbo Tournament 96 - Works, but appears to run below full speed when more than 1 opponent. Use Head-to Head mode and other modes without 3 opponents.
Road Rash - Works, but road and grass rendered incorrectly.
Road Rash II - Works, but road and grass rendered incorrectly.
Road Rash 3 - Works, but road and grass rendered incorrectly.

Micro Machines is another game that runs without cropping on the sides! Road Rash II is titled with the roman numerals wheras Road Rash 3 uses the arabic number - this has been retained in the list.

Knuckles in Sonic 2 could probably be trimmed is somebody felt like giving it a go. I believe the rom is literally the Sonic 2 and S&K roms combined, which would obviously contain plenty of unnecessary data.

Did Some more.
Shining Force (U) / Works
Shining Force 2 (U) / Works
Shining in the Darkness (U) / Works
Phantasy Star 2 (U) / Not Working. Shows Garbled Sprites, then Freezes.
Phantasy Star 3 (U) / Works. Cuts off a Small Portion of the Left Side of the Screen. Quite Playable.
Phantasy Star 4 (U) / Works. Turn Vertical Scaling Off.

Edit: Did a couple more.

Contra: Hard Corps (U) / Works. Cuts off the Edges a Little.
Comix Zone (U) / Works. Crops the Screen a bit. Some Background Flicker. Very Playable.

There's a patch out there for Wily Wars as I have it playing flawlessly on my DS. It was years, though, and I've forgotten where the patch came from.

A shame about Phantasy Star 2. DSTwo users can presumably play the GBA game, though. JenesisDS is a good example of why emulators should be open source - I'm sure there are plenty of people who would love to improve this emulator but cannot due to no source code.

Added more, more working games this time.

Cool Spot - Works.
Last Battle - Works.
Micro Machines 2 Turbo Tournament - Works.
Sensible Soccer - Not working, black screen on boot.
Spot Goes to Hollywood - Works.
Toki - Works.
Truxton - Works.
World Cup Italia '90 - Works.
Zero Tolerance 2: Beyond Zero Tolerance - Works. Weapon slightly layered over HUD.

Strange with Micro Machines 2. All other Micro Machines games slow down with more than 2 cars and thus have to be played in head-to-head mode, yet Micro Machines 2 doesn't suffer from this despite the prequel and sequels having this problem. Weird.

Good heads-up with the Megaman - The Wily Wars patch. I can confirm that this patch works http://www.romhacking.net/hacks/514/
I believe the Everdrive flashcart also needs this patch, something to do with the save type of the game. I'll update the list.

By the way, does anybody know how to sort roms alphabetically without copying them all back over again?

I have no issue with it myself. As long as the list doesn't get flooded, then I don't see a problem.

I think that link is for the patcher itself.

Pier Solar wouldn't work anyway because it's 64Mbit so waaay over the 3MB limit. :)

I did see a beta rom floating around, no idea how big that is.
