it's sad how digimon games are so little appreciated. so many crappy games being localized and then games such as this aren't

i know digimon is awsome, its never had the chance to become popular oversees because of the digimon copied pokemon thing but digimon was there first

Since the 3DS is just a port of the original game, if someone does start translating it, it shouldn't take too long.

As of yet though, no group has picked this up.

From what I've heard, it's not actually a port, there's over double the amount of content in the 3DS version, obviously it would help having the PSP version translated but would still take quite a while to translate the rest.

The team translating the PSP version are interested in translating the 3DS version but they're not quite sure which game they're going to translate next.

the 3ds version would be better, since i own a 3ds and gateway, but looks like im going to be using ppsspp and my 3ds as a psp controller

I thought they were going to translate Digimon Adventure PSP next? I'd much rather they translate that one next. I wanna be able to play Digimon Adventure with the Japanese voices and soundtrack in English.

Since you just joined today, yes there's already been fan-translations for a few games now. Hell, there's even a full Chinese fan-translation of Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies.

Edit: There are even roms that are undubbed.

Problem is that most fan-translations take longer to finish compared to localization translations.

Yeah, that's another one they want to do but still haven't decided for definite yet. I'd personally prefer they did Decode for 3DS, Adventure doesn't really interest me too much.
