OP
We are all speculating on whether or not sky3ds will be blocked on the next firmware update, be it 9.4 or 10.0... So let's quantify what everybody thinks!

Personally I think it will be blocked in the next update.

Sky3DS was blocked the moment they decided to put the imposed limit of games per life cycle. I mean, it "works" on 9.3, yet there's a new batch of cards already.

the old card still works and with a help of a tool it has the same functionality of the new card.
stop taking it personal - it's business, for them(and many other companies) you are a wallet with a mouth.

if it could be blocked I think Nintendo would have done so already, they've been pretty quick in the past to block exploits

if sky3ds is emulating retail cards theres not much Nintendo can do. with new sky3ds cards saving to sd Nintendo could implement some sort of save check and wipe sky3ds game saves but I doubt the card itself will get blocked.

The only one taking it personal would be you. How many post questioning Sky3DS have you replied today?

If Sky3DS it's 1:1 gamecard, then NOT.
If don't it's 1:1 gamecard, then YES.

It has multirom support, so is not a "perfect" 1:1 emulation.

Regardless, everything is patchable.

my god - you are right! I've been a fool...
I see the light now.

but nah - I'm only here to further debate the situation.
I reply whenever I feel I need to, or want to...

Sky 3DS had a very distasteful business strategy, but so did Gateway in the beginning, also r4i gold 3ds deluxe edition and many more...
Gateway, despite it's bumpy beginning became something amazing, but then it became exclusive...
I'm just making sure that Sky 3DS gets the same chance, maybe 2 great cards can create real competition and we can see more progress in this scene(it was a long, lonely 2 years...)

How so? They started as quick as they could, with poor features (not imposed limits), but always delivering updates for the sake of keeping on top, and they haven't forced a new hardware for their old customers (not even a new one for 9.2 support, I mean, can't you seriously see that?)

Sounds like you are kind of a shill...

and they worked their god damned hardest to stop clones, even at the expense of innocent people who got their 3ds bricked.

man, i ain't no effin shill, i don't even know what shill means.

nah - i'm not affiliated with Sky 3DS. I actually own a Gateway and love it, and up till a few months ago, used it gladly(until my 3ds was updated...)
but Sky 3DS regave me the Homebrew ability(got stuck while developing something) so i'm quite happy for that.
