Hacking GW Blue works on DSL but not 4.4 3DS ?

My GW arrived yesterday but I'm stuck at the first hurdle the blue GW card does not load on a 3DS but works on a DSL, The 3DS is on 4.4 (Ver. 4.4.0-0E)and official DS cards work fine. The GW Blue cart shows Deep Labyrinth but after booting throws the error occurred power down message so I’m guessing its failing to pass verification on the 3DS any ideas? I have also tried several SD's of various brands sizes and classes and all work on the DSL with the blue GW.

you can use any working r4 card as bluecard to start the gateway exploit, maybe this helps you (just you'll need the .nds file

Since it works on a DSL, it sounds like either the connectors in your 3DS are dirty or just can't launch it's exploit. Are all files correctly placed on the blue card? Are you running the latest version (2.6)? Tried reformatting?

You could always use a generic DS flashcart to install/launch the exploit.

since when is there an update for the blue cart? there is just one working setting supplied by gateway for the blue cart only your sd-card gets updates in 4.x exploit.

true i actually never ever used the gateway's own blue card i didn't even bother taking it out of the box instead i use my old r4i sdhc 3ds. by the way the blue card looks identical to the R4.CN card,did anyone try using the official wood kernal v1.64 firmware on it ? http://www.r4ids.cn/r4i-download-e.htm

Cheer's, I'm aware I can use another card but am trying to avoid chucking anymore cash at it just to run an exploit when the blue card should suffice. If there's no solution like re-flashing the cart then i'll just send the lot back.

Obvious question; did you use an official reseller? Maybe you got played.

Not sure if hes on the official resellers list but ozmodchips is normally hassle free.
I'm guessing the card is defective or has an old bootstrap as it fails in the same manner as my old acecard2i.

The blue linker is a clone of R4.
Works unti l7.x firmware or maybe 6.
If your blue linker is not working, then it is a defective one or a "fake".

A working R4 (like from R4ids.cn : R4i 3DS Gold RTS) is less than 15$ if you need one.
A you can buy a nlue linker working from someone like me who have another DS linker (like DSTwo) and if not using blue card anymore.

They are, I got mine from them as well. Sounds like it might be a defective cart after all.
