I think the problem is that eumNAND cant run NDS games at all..

Yeah, the dogs are stopping us. We need full kennel access to trap them there so we can play our NDS games.
Whenever a peice of DS software is launched on the 3DS, it "erases" the exploit used to launch gateway or CFW.... That's the best wording i can come up with at the moment considering i haven't slept since saturday night.
It is 100% impossible. You can't make NDS ROMs run from the system. It's a hardware limitation. just like how DSi ware won't go on the SD card.

To the OP: don't listen to these guys, they don't know what they're talking about. You actually need a certain game to trigger an exploit whilst in CFW so you can have access to the NDS library. Pretty much the way you need Cubic Ninja to run smea's Ninjhax.
The game is Nintendogs, it's the only one known to be able to trigger the exploit that allows kennel access in CFW. Got it? Nintendo, dogs, kennel...

But seriously, how does exactly DS mode erases/deletes the exploit installed by GW/CFW? I know it's the mset exploit thingy that gives kernel access and yadda yadda yadda, but I was here thinking I could freely play DS games while also enjoying 3DS games. I guess I really am sad now (I'm waiting for my GW cart atm).

The exploit works by corrupting the NDS profile, causing a crash and launching Launcher.dat on the SD card whenever you try to view it.
If you run any DS game the DS profile will be verified and fixed.
Just a quick question before this thread falls into the depths of internet world. If you have CFW installed and you run a NDS game, you have to reinstall the Gateway/ROP exploit (whatever its called) again right?
