Hacking pkhex that pokemon cant be traded.

Duped pokemons trade fine. Im however trying to port in a articuno and celebi but ive looked at all the options and they are always your pokemon cant be traded mons. is there something im missing or that needs to be done to make them tradeable?

Dupes are working fine.

You can't trade impossible pokemon. Don't make your zapdos hatched from an egg. Don't make your celebi shiny. Don't make your diancie caught on route 7.

Ya, I made a Torkoal and tried to trade it. It was setup as if I had hatched it, and had everything setup legit. I think it has something to do with ORAS (you didn't say if you were on ORAS or XY but I'm using ORAS)

Okay, if the pokemon's TID, SID, and OT name doesn't belong to you
(pokemon that usually evolve by happiness that don't evolve, will be fixed by this too):

Go to OT/MISC > Latest (Not OT) Handler:
Insert your OT name.

After that Go to Memories/Amie > Memories with Not OT:Fill it in, in a logical manner. Like if it was received by "trade", for example.


Let me know if it works.
If it doesn't, upload the pk6 so I can see what's the issue.

Im trying to make a victini everything seems right from the site however it says it cant be traded due to it being a special pokemon. source game met pokemon black a wifi gift hmmm.

the guide is half useless now because pokecheck is gone.

pokegen could create legal PID, but couldn't create legal ID and SID,
so I figured out what (or where) does Pokecheck get it's algo from.

ID/SID & PID checks are entirely Pokecheck; you don't get stuff blocked unless you did something stupidly illegal.

don't hack stupidly? it's retardedly easy to generate legal stuff especially with PKHeX's dumbed down interface.

I get legal pokemon by creating make and female and the breaking them with a destiny not to get 5 perfect iv of 31.
Still having trouble getting legendary legal.
Ps.Don't really care for legendary so much because most of the time they are band

Not entirely related, but when importing single-gender .pkms (Gen 4/5) PkHeX converts them to genderless, making them illegal.

Thanks for PkHeX, it's an awesome program.
