Ok, here goes:

I have a fresh US Vita on 3.18 and I want to install the Talkman Tokyo TN-V exploit. It is brand new out of the box meaning that no PSN account has been registered to it, and anyway I try to do it, it keeps telling me I need to upgrade the firmware in order to activate it. I bought the game on the PSN stores website and will have access to a PS3 tomorrow. What I want to know is if the PS3 will activate my Vita so I can transfer the game to it, or if there is something else I am missing, or if I am completely screwed at this point. I have the exploit files for the game downloaded and will put the files over to the Vita once I get the game, I just need to know exactly how I will do this with a non activated Vita. Anyone know? I just want to make sure I am not bussing across the city to my friends house (he has the PS3) for no good reason.

this is what you need to do,

- Install openCMA patch over CMA on your pc in admin mode
- log a ps3 onto the psn with the same account as your vita
- donwload the exploit games/ps1 loaders on the ps3 from the psn store and leave them in bubbleform, no need to install.
- make sure yoru vita is activated if not then format it and follow the steps when it comes on, log into the internet and login to psn account, watch the intro and then goto settings and put the vita into plane mode, reboot it.
- plug cable into vita and pc and on the vita goto cma, when it loaded unplug the cable out of the pc and leave the error screen up and plug it into the ps3 and follow the steps on the vita to go into the ps3 and copy game across
- copy exploit games across and then goto the pc and setup the exploit save files AND THE PSP 660.PBP file (named like that, make sure if file extensions are off to switch on and name like this) by putting them in the myydocuments>ps vita>86fd876g78f6gd ETC ETC> saveetc etc
-plug vita back into pc and transfer the save exploits over which you just put in the vita folder
- launch the game and trigger the exploit while holding down the Shoulder (cant remember which prolly right) button and you will get a black screen with text
- goto advaanced>install and install the 660.PBP then back out and exit, your done.

this is rough guide off the top of my head so it should help a little.

You probably should have actually read the OP ;)

He doesn't have an account on his Vita at all, and as far as I know there's no way to add one without having to connect to PSN and update. So you're out of luck.

if you read MY post it says how to get around that.......... ugh

"make sure your vita is activated if not then format it and follow the steps when it comes on, log into the internet and login to psn account, watch the intro and then goto settings and put the vita into plane mode, reboot it."

Im guessing you dont own a vita because what you just posted there is bull, you can add an account without updating,
