How to crack SKY3DS - “10 games limit
First of all, Supposed youve already got 10 games in your microSD card, see these games order in the following table:

You can then format either that microSD card or another new one by Diskwriter, and rewrite the games sequentially into the microSD card at order: A, a, B, b,CThe new games you would like to play more (more than 10) : a, b, c, d, e..
Turn on your 3DS console, insert your SKY3ds card with that microSD card, while the Game “A” logo image is showing on the top screen of console, follow the steps below:
1. Press the red button on SKY3ds, the blue light turns on, when it keep fast flashing, take out the SKY3ds card immediately.
2. Re-insert SKY3ds card, the Game “a” logo image will show on your 3DS console, press the red button quickly, you got the Game “a” run properly now once the blue light keep flashing.
You can get any/more new games b, c, d…run by the same way as long as you put the new game between any two old games(A,B,C,D,…J, which has been remembered by SKY3ds card) in pattern A, a, B, b, C… and rewrite them together into the microSD card. That’s all! Enjoy you SKY3ds card now!

So what you're telling me is that it's safe to buy one of these things and I can remove the limit?

I always prefer to support the innovators and not just the people making clones; If the Sky3DS (the first one to support cart emulation, no?) actually has a way to remove that limit now, I don't see why not!

normally i would support the innovators but i wouldn't want to support innovators that purposefully tried to limit their device, this is just a hack that pretty much proves that there wasn't any "technical limitation"

from what i see you are still limited to 20 games?

That's how I'm reading it too, though I guess with the way this works the extra games woudn't be written to the Sky3DS's "remember" list, so you could switch those out for different games and it should still work.

Sounds like you're using a really hackish and corruption-prone method to go over the limit. And if you can actually, PHYSICALLY go over the limit, then this does nothing but paint the Sky3DS team in a really shitty light

Well, it's sort of a slippery slope. Same with Gateway and the bricking fiasco.

The sad reality is that if someone were to release a card without a hardware limit imposed, it would almost certaily just be a clone of Sky3DS that was hacked at the factory anyway.

So... about the 20 game thing...

I'm not in a hurry, seeing as how I have a Gateway anyway. I suppose these things aren't going anywhere any time soon so it's not like there's any reason to get one now aside from being one of the first people to have one.
