No, I don't think so. Update seems to be a .cia file so just install this .cia file with the devmenu and it should install the update on your 3DS SD Card.
got a tutorial on that?

a while back? well more come out every week or so, and that 3ds has gw? goodI did xD I downloaded all the japanese updates a while back
Does some people plan to do the same for US/EU updates? It might also be interesting to have them, for the same reason as the japanese ones.
Is there any x32 CIA makers?
I don't want to buy an x64 OS just for packaging CIA.
Yes. I finished outputting xorpads on Win7 32bit.you don't, the x64 were made later. are you able to compile it yourself, i take it you are on windows?
you just need to find it (i agree it was a bit tricky to find)
I really dont think we allow links to .cia files here.

not just the space the updates take up, but also space for making the xorpads, sure it could be done it parts, but it would just be nicest to do it all at once (if sd decrypt can handle that much)
i think someone did the eur updates, thankfully
it might be a week before i can get all the updates made since i don't have the big sd card yet, if you want to do it all then feel free
i need to make a program/script to do it for me, because i really don't want to do 120+ updates one by one.
maybe the person who did the eur updates did it 'manually', since there are only like 20 updates or something.
if you want to do it one by one (or if you can make a script to automate it yourself) then sure dump them when you get your 3ds back, but let me know if you plan on doing it so i don't waste my time (i hope someone out there on a different forum hasn't done this already)
It was when the last pokemon update got released. I don't mind doing some of them manually, so once I get my 3DS back, I can help you if all the updates aren't ripped yet. If you find a way to do it automatically, that's not a problem, it's better but if not, I'm open to help then we can divide the work.
i'm making a way to do it automatically thanks for the offer though
Just wondering since I hadn't actually looked at your updates. Do they have the proper content IDs and title IDs?
I was about to say that I'm surprised the links weren't removed yet, but they are now.
I would upload them to a different 3DS site. You know, the one in the ISO network of forums.
*wink wink, nudge nudge*
Title id is things like "00040000000AE000".
Content id is probably things like "CTR-JA2E".
As updates are pretty small, the best is probably to gather all of them in an archive (like a rar file) and just share the link (and some mirrors) in private, rather than share individual files/links.
And then, you update the archive each once a while, when new releases are updated.
Except if someone have access to scene sites and in that case, you could even release them individually like BigBlueBox do
i can confirm that the flipnote update doesn't work... it's something weird... i should be getting some help with it though
if you have installed it, simply delete the folder in title/5000e/00056c00 in the mean time. (delete 5000e if it is now empty). no problem if you don't delete it though really, but it's nice to be clean
no you need to decrypt it using sd decryptor, xor it, and then you can use extdata_tool.
well that's what i did, i don't think it woudl have worked if i didn't decrypt it first.
what do you want to do with those db files?I see
With someone kind help, I got my xor now
I got my dbs.title.db.xorpad and dbs.import.db.xorpad .
Any walkthrough of what you did with extdata_tool ?, hint's may help
Cheers bud .

just run it, it will tell you what to do, nothing special
extdata_tool -t --listdb dbs.title.db.xorpad
