I need to install the exploit to get the xorpad for my ROM decryption. I'm not directly asking for a rom here, so this shouldn't be considered illegal.

No. Sharing binaries, keys, and xorpads is illegal. You must dump your own. You need a 4.1-4.5 3DS and a original Nintendo DS flashcard (e.g. DSTwo etc.) to gain ARM9 access.

What will you do with these if you don't even have an exploitable 3DS ?
I don't think you'll manage to find someone to give them to you anyway, because it's just too much trouble. (Finding and downloading the correct rom, hours of uploading just to give someone some files because these are almost the same size as the rom and most people have less than a Megabyte/s upload speed...)
If you have a 4.5 3DS then you should at least buy a simple DS flashcard to install the exploit, they are realy cheap.

but i just found out my 3DS is version 9.0.0, does that mean i can't use a flashcard at all?

You can use a DS flashcard, but not a 3DS flashcard. And you can't generate xorpads on your own, you need a 4.1-4.5 system.

ugh well then im stuck, it sucks too because the only thing i need is a SM3DL xorpad but i just cant obtain one
