Using this guide: http://gbatemp.net/threads/tutorial-converting-3ds-to-cia-for-dummies.373722/
I can successfully convert pretty much any .3ds file that I've tried to far to an installable .cia file that installs and saves properly.
When I try to do the same for games that I have patched with Gateway ROM Patcher v1.0 so I could play online, I wind up with a few more .xorpad files than usual.
000400000007C700.Main.exefs_norm.xorpad
000400000007C700.DownloadPlay.romfs.xorpad
000400000007C700.Manual.romfs.xorpad
When I tried the same thing with Mario Golf: World Tour, I also have a file that was something like 000400000007C700.Main.exefs_7.x.xorpad.
I tried decrypting the usual ones, by renaming Main.exefs_norm and Main.exefs_7.x so they didn't have the underscore or anything after it. Always fails. Says that the ROMfs is wrong.
Has anyone successfully converted any .3DZ files patched for online play so far? I could use some help.
