Gaming Who is you favorite/main Sm4sh character?

Well, even though I pre ordered it, Smash took it's time in the mail and I only got it last week...
and since then I am having a blast! I kinda got good with mega man on the demo but in the full game I really got comfortable with Zero Suit Samus.
she's fast, can do close and range fighting and her moves got style (SWAG is the most impotent part!)
anyway it's been a while since release, who did you make your main? are you any good? tell me!
does anyone wants a battle?

I'm kinda good with Pit, Shulk,Rosalina,Yoshi and Robin.

Generally Heavy Users are kinda easy to use, King Dedede, Ike and Bowser fits my style.

I use Greninja, haven't unlocked/tried most of the characters yet though so that might change. However, I like it and so far it's my favorite.

I'm trying to main ZSS but I still get low kill count
I'm kinda good with Pit, Shulk,Rosalina,Yoshi and Robin.

Generally Heavy Users are kinda easy to use, King Dedede, Ike and Bowser fits my style.

I absolutely can not play with heavy characters, it's just not fun.
also don't like fighting against Ganon/Bowser, I can get then to 100% with perfect play and just make that one mistake and get brutally punished with just 2 hits....
just doesn't seem fair, or at the very least doesn't seem like me being more skilled matters that much

My main from Brawl is Toon Link. Haven't lost a legit match as him in a very, very long time. Trying to get good as Lucina but when my only way to get good as her is to play CPU...it's not going well. Online is still a lagfest, I couldn't even play with my friend living 15 minutes away without lag. Though that may have been his shiternet. Any time I try For Glory it decides I want to play with someone from friggin' Europe so we play some good ol' turn based Smash Bros. I'm not good with lag compensating.

As a third i'd love to get better as Palutena or Rosalina. Not sure who yet.

I'll have to give you props for trying to main the pichu of SSB4. Villager is the worst character of all time. His only redemption is that lovely ability to grab almost any item/projectile.

When I'm a light character, its very irritating to fight against these guys because they have priority moves even
when you are always striking out first. I hate adjusting into that.

Go Rosalina, Palutena is tooooooooo predictable and lackluster
He also have lovely recoveries. The only downside I have on him is range.
(Doesnt like pichu damage himself over his own attacks, villager does not do that xD)

I feel like Mario's a much more balanced character now. He moves fast enough to hold his own against faster characters and strong enough to hold his own with the heavyweights.

Well all heavy characters are pretty predictable if played wrong. If I was better at countering I think i'd be fine playing Palutena. I was excited for Rosalina but Luma is just a pain in the ass sometimes.

and when I say Pichu tier, I pretty much just mean Villager is about as good at winning as pichu...lol. Soo bad. Most of his moveset is a write-off.
One thing I found to be absolutely hilarious is that if villager fights mario or dr mario, you may as well just suicide to get the match over with. It's so easy to time Mario's cape attack to reflect villagers bowling ball side smash back at him, typically instantly killing him...and that's a big move for Villager, he doesn't have a lot of useful attacks. Not to mention I imagine you could reflect the tree...but no one uses that because it's literally like planting, growing and chopping down a falcon punch. Most useless move of all time, I have no idea what Nintendo was thinking. If the tree didn't despawn I could see it being a tad more practical, but it despawns so quickly you basically can't hit anyone unless they go full retard.

Anyway I just enjoy ranting about the villager.

I'm a Zelda fan! I love teleporting and that bomb thing is amazing. And you can reflect physical and energy based projectiles just by pressing a button. Also her new dark knight move is great when you charge it up!!

Seeing and capitalizing on mistakes is also a form of skill. If you're playing a heavy character against someone who really knows what he's doing, you can't do anything half the time.

Seeing and capitalizing on mistakes is also a form of skill. If you're playing a heavy character against someone who really knows what he's doing, you can't do anything half the time.

Yeah, sure if I make a mistake I expect to get punished, but if I'm on top the whole mach and this heavy dude can get a quick K.O. from me missing a dodge once or twice while he got punished the entire game...
well, that's kinda cheap.

Well they do have a trade off between power and speed. I just hate their superarmor =-=
Pulling quick KOs is kinda hard (except for Cheap Charizard) since trade offs :|
Its quite easier to pull on team though since you have an ally to rely.
