Wait, a scene-released NAND? What is this blasphemy?

Seriously though, I can't see how that's possible without the following being implemented first:

1) Dump personal 3DS per-console encryption key. (no released method)
2) Decrypt EmuNAND 9.X dump using said per-console key. (no released method)
3) Share decrypted 9.X EmuNAND to be re-encrypted to other consoles using their per-console encryption keys. (no released method)

As none of the required steps have been publicly released, to my knowledge, this is not, at this time, possible for the general public to do.

Beyond those steps as well, you may need to patch over other per-console information, like CID/NNID/Tokens/Serial/Model/etc.
There are a lot of unknowns that are yet to be addressed, so until they are, I'm calling BS on this.

They probably have some patch tuesday thing going on and the logistics just make it simpler for them to release updates in bulk - all at once, which is why we got Pokemon and 9.2.0 at the same time.

Someone tested this ?
- Backup your 8.1/9.0/9.1 emunand
- Update your emunand to 9.2
- Download the games updates needed on eshop
- Restore your 8.1/9.0/9.1 emunand.

(I already downloaded ssb on pokemon updates, just curious)

not sure, but aren't tickets stored in the (emu)NAND? if you inject an older version, then the newer download might not get recognized.... not sure on this though, might be worth a try

Dont for get that you can always update from dump directly ( for those of you who installed Gateway).

Yes, but I was talking about game updates

I just restored my 8.1 emunand backup and I still have the 1.0.3 ssb game update I downloaded on 9.0 so I can confirm it works. (But I guess the update will be deleted if I go into Data Management menu)
