[Confirmed] GTA SA coming to X360 and PS3

It seems that GTA SA, the gem that Rockstar produced, is coming to 360 and PS3.

Perhaps an HD port?
Well, it's the 10th anniversary of the game this month!
10 years already!? seems like it came out yesterday.

If it's true then I'm already preordering the collectors edition.
Please Rockstar, have my life!

It's confirmed.
Rockstar will rerelease GTA SA in 720p on the 360.
Notable changes are better graphics, bigger draw distance and other major improvements.
This version isn't compatible with the old original version but it will contain fun achievements.

GTA SA HD will be available on 360's Games on Demand from 26th of October for ~5 quid.

360 users have had SA for years so an HD port wouldn't really mean much at this point.

Original game is available for PS3 and 360 yes.
However this would be a HD remaster as it also contains chievies.

GTA 3 and VC had 10th anniversary on Android, why not GTA SA for consoles?

Long story short: they were better.

Just my opinion, Vice City was awesome, and i'll always prefer that ones before any others.

The ps3 or 360 has an exclusive hd port, I forget which one got it. And the other one got a straight nonupraded port

Wouldn't it be better to port it to, y'know...those NEWER consoles?

Heck...even a wii(u) port would make more sense at this point. But then again, I never understood fans. Perhaps I'm the only one thinking "meh...I already have everything up to GTA IV on pc on a bundle", and is everyone else busy throwing money at stuff they already have.

well it seems that GTA SA has dissappeared off Xbox Classics and PS2 Classics on the EU PSN, and some form of beta testing appears to be going on with SA on Steam, this is starting to look more realistic to me now
