I have been trying to get in touch with them for weeks now. I was wondering if anyone else has tried to contact them recently with success. I got a response back when the site went down by sending my email in Chinese.

I have been sending English and Chinese emails for a few weeks now trying to touch base and see if the card will ever support the new encryption.

Just checking in to see if anyone has heard anything at all because pretty soon I am just going to accept that Mt-Card is a scam, and will buy a Gateway.

While I am at it I am just checking in to see if Gateway still bricks its own customers consoles, and can I use a Gateway after I have already exploited with Mt-Card?

In my opinion i disagree with sending emails to flash cart companies. Simply for the fact that replying to emails takes away precious time they could be using to implement new features.

They haven't replied because no doubt they are sick and tired of receiving 500 emails a day all asking the same thing.

It's been speculated that the MT Card team is only a single person, because in a few of their news updates on the website, the person refers to themselves as 'I'. Or maybe its just a bad translation from chinese, no one knows.

The general concensus is the bricking code still exists in the gateway Launcher.dat file, but it has been improved upon to prevent accidental bricking of genuine Gateway users.

MT Card, like R4i Deluxe, 3DS Link etc. Are all clones in some form of the Gateway 3DS card. Sell your MT Card and get a Gateway. If people keep buying these cheap knock offs, they aren't supporting Gateway and it's revolutionary features that everyond else copies.

I'm not a fanboy of Gateway, i think they are scum for bricking peoples expensive electronic devices, but the writings on the wall. They are the best. Enough said.

There's a difference between a bad product/service and a scam. MT-Card, at one point, was ahead of Gateway, I think they got rom-switching, or some other feature, first. The fact that MT-Card works and does what it claims to (at least to my knowledge) means it's not a scam, but their lack of support and blatant copying of Gateway's features means it's just a bad product. Assuming you haven't bought MT-Card, you'll spend a bit more for Gateway, but you'll get many more features. They have been supporting their flashcard for over a year now, and they're still holding strong. Gateway is definitely the better choice. I'm not a Gateway fanboy, I'm just a fanboy of things that have been proven to work.

Of course, if you're willing to wait, you could always wait for SSSpwn to come out, and see if anyone is able to take it and tweak it to allow ROMs. Some people claim that it's impossible (something about the lamest theme park ever, Userland) but who knows? People probably said ROMs in general were impossible for the 3DS and it's heightened security.

Are you saying support brick code?

People act like mtcard is so revolutionary for coming out with multi-rom first but you have to realize that was about the only thing they were up to date on. If Gateway had only focused on that, then they would of had it out first but you would have missed out on compatibility etc.

The reason I ask people to contact Mt is because of the fact the dev doesnt take 2 min to post an update. It is quite pathetic because people paid for Mt, it is not a free hack by any means.

I will end up with Gateway most likely, but still have no clear answer if I can use Gateway when I already exploited with Mt.

I would love to avoid spending more money on a shady ass conpanys card. Seriously who the hell would ever consider bricking their own customers consoles to make $100 off repairing them. Just shady as hell!

This is why i love hacking, you pay so much money for these consoles and nintendo standover you telling you how to use that device on which you spent your hard earned cash on. Excuse my french, but fu*cking scum!

All of my devices, from iPhone to kindles, my old PS1 to my PS3, all jailbroken, hacked, chipped, custom ROMed, you name it. I own them, not their manufacturer!

MT-Card is not a "scam". They are just another group of clones that have exhausted their ability in cloning Gateway features. The only difference between them and R4 is that R4 failed a lot earlier.

Regardless of your perspective on brick codes and whatnot, Gateway is pretty much the only choice.

Since no one has answered your question, yes, you can still use Gateway if you used MT-Card first. They all use the same exploit, so there's no difference. If you still are unwary, you could always reinstall the exploit with Gateway when you get it.

Yeah dude, customer support is just a waste of time. Those guys should just live in a cave with a 3DS and various flash card manufacturing tools.
