Gaming Smash Bros Unlimited on Non-NNID 3DS???

i want to buy the unlimited use smash bros demo off ebay, but am unsure if this requires a NNID. also, it says codes must be redeemed by sep 19. again am unsure what that means.

It's October and the game is out. The Demo Codes won't work.

Yes, you will need an NNID to redeem ANY code using the eShop. Pretty sure you can't even look in the eShop now without it asking you for an NNID.

just to clarify, my 3DS XL does not have NNID, i declined when asked. the eShop works fine, download codes work fine. i just redeemed some Club Nintendo games a few days ago. thats not the issue.

The only thing affected by NNID, is free software and demos. (codes work fine). Smash Bros Unlimited Demo is a grey area, since its a download code it PROBABLY will work, BUT since its also technically a Demo im not 100% sure.

as for the Sep.19 date, why would ebay sellers keep selling them if they couldent be used?. im pretty sure the Sep.19 date just means you must get it in your club nintendo account before Sep.19. Like any Platinum reward or CN reward the code can be used anytime, but again, im not 100% sure.

not exactly a brilliant plan if that was the case.

im pretty sure download codes last forever. i redeemed Donkey Kong Country as my platinum reward, but left it for a month because i had to order a bigger SD card, it went through fine even though the Platinum reward cutoff passed.

The date is passed, you shouldnt be able to redeem them anymore. Redeemed by Sept 19th means that you had to have used the code on the eShop before or on sept 19th.
