I wonder if anything will turn up with a 5.x update that isn't 5.1.2. One piece released before Wii Sport Resort but could have 5.0 and no word on Hyrule Warriors yet.

Actually yeah, Hyrule Warriors doesn't have an update on the disc. It's http://gbatemp.net/threads/does-hyrule-warriors-contains-update-5-1-2e.371741/ with the 5th post down.

That's not true. At least PAL version contains an update.

Yes it is, the NTSC version of Hyrule Warriors does not have a System update on the disc. I'm on 4.1.0 and I purchased the game yesterday. It didn't update my console. Unless of course the update on it is 4.1.0 or below but that wouldn't make too much sense.

Well in that case I guess it's 4.1.0 on the disc and I'm on 4.1.0 so that explains that. I just can't believe Nintendo wouldn't put at the very least 5.0 on the disc, it's been out for months.

The 3ds still has carts coming out that have 4+ month old firmwares so its not surprising. 3rd parties seem to use much older SDK's than Nintendo for whatever reason.

I just thought I may add an update to this, I got the Mario 3D world Wii U Bundle. The console was on version 2.1.0 when I first turned it on. I did not connect my Wii U to the internet. I put the Mario 3D World game disc in and it required an update. I expected it to go to 3.1.0 per this list but it actually updated to 5.1.2. I dont know if they updated the disc or what but it took me to 5.1.2 so not sure if you want to add that to your list so others don't run into that issue. Console purchased in EBGames Canada.

I have been scouring the net trying to find confirmation but haven't seen anything about it having 5.1.2. Was hoping someone here had come across this. Oh well a forewarning to anyone who picks this up and wants to stay under 5.1.0.

Probably so. I wish I could help, but I had the WWHD bundle that comes with 4.1.0 I believe. Can anyone confirm what version the MK8 bundle has?

Me? No, haven't, been kinda busy, but yes, it's been crazy. Eventually I suppose that something will be ported or found. No clue why I'm kinda wary.
