I can't answer your first question, but these cards use Micro SD cards. You connect them to your computer by using a Micro SD card reader, or with an SD card adapter, by using an SD card reader.

The Supercard DsTwo can work with 3ds and Dsi and is updatable if it needs to.
Usually the new R4i cards have a few updates then you need to buy another card again otherwise you can't use it on the latest firmware
So yeah Ds Two

Yes. You can download the kernel (and the update if necessary) from the official homepage.
Incase that the DSTWO doesn't work on any DS you have (and shows "an error has occured...") please ask again here.

Not if you buy the R4i Gold 3DS one from www.r4ids.cn. :)
Which Flash Cart Should I Get?
It's pretty good value for the price, but obviously it wont be better than DSTwo in terms of features etc, so of course get the DSTwo if you can, OP. 20 euro for the DSTwo is pretty good price too I think. :)

You mean this one? In what way is it inferior to the DSTwo?

Nope, I meant this one. That other one is not a trusted cart, I wouldn't recommend it.

I don't have DSTwo myself so I'm not aware of all the features it has, but I know that the R4i Gold has inferior homebrew emulator support (SNES and GBA emulators do exists that work on this cart, but they are far behind the DSTwo specific emulators in terms of emulation accuracy and game support). And most importantly, it has had few hardware revisions in the past because of 3DS firmware updates, unlike DSTwo which has never required a hardware update. But, the newest revision of R4i Gold 3DS hasn't been blocked in over a year now and Nintendo hasn't really been blocking DS mode flashcarts in the last few 3DS firmwares either, so it probably doesn't matter that much anymore.

So, I'd say, if SNES/GBA emulation is important to you, you should pick the DSTwo and not even think about any other carts, but if it's not that important to you, the R4i Gold(from r4ids.cn website) is not a bad choice either. :)

Honest question, how can you even tell the difference? They all look so similar.

Are you saying that from personal experience that one is better or is it just an established fact within the community that that one is superior?
