Hacking [Online] EUR Fantasy Life on US 3ds?

It will probably work. I played Fantasy Life LNK JPN version on my US 3DS and it worked fine. I didn't even attempt to try online.

I don't have high confidence that online will work, nor do I think we will be able to copy this save to the US version when it comes out but I don't know.

I DO know I have been waiting for this forever and will probably break down and play it, then start all over when US comes out next month.

I don't know.

I just booted the EU game. It creates some data on your SD card (I'm assuming card2 here). I tried downloading the extra data but expectedly failed as I can't connect to the EU eshop.

Now that you mention it. I think I will put a header on this EU and try to go online. I'll let you know when I get to that part. Stay tuned.

don't waste your time on EUR version if you want to buy the expansion pack( i believe it's 7.99$)

Nope. Gatway ROM Patcher says its 8GBit Card1. I put in my personal Pokemon Y 2GB header.

Really, a -4 day dlc? The game isn't even out until sept 26 in Europe

Online appears to work. no dlc or day -4 patches required.
I was unable to connect to anyone though, maybe someone else with the EU version could try connecting right about meow.

Yeah, its a pity cross region updates don't work. I'm fairly sure that FantasyLife sooner or later will require updates for online play. This just means until the US release comes out, I won't be able to play it

Also, it seems friendship(friend code exchange) is required to play online. I wasn't able to connect to anyone since i have no friends.

Has anyone tried checking out the "check payable content" tab upon game booting? Tells me an error has occurred. I'm not sure if it's because it's too early or if I fucked up the header injection.

Have you made sure you:- For online features, update your emunand to 8.1.0 and use chip code "C2FA0290" make sure you put the code in Rom Patcher v0.7

Does the chip code have to be exactly that? Mine is C2FA0090.
