No.... I mean not at this present time the device was just released and is still too new. Give it time although with the way Nintendo has been attacking the flash card market recently I see this thing getting patched or nintendo sues there a** in court for all there worth. Long story short don't get your hopes up.

I hope they never release cheats to Gateway3DS, not only it would be useless, but it would be just like before, you wanna play Mario Kart 7 online and you can't due to some little shit using cheats, same with Pokemon X/Y having hacked pokemon all over GTS.

Dont worry about it I wont planning to play online cause you know nintendo could ban the console and i dont like to spoil the competitive gameplay to others :yaynds:
so i dont think people with cheats try to play online with Nintendo baning

They don't seem to care, look at Mario Kart Wii.

Hello all. 1-year after this initial question was asking... I would like to ask again.

Are there any way to use cheats on 3DS with GATEWAY 3DS?

I have searched and come up with nothing. Meaning there is no way, but you never know.

Thanks.

Nope, nothing yet... MT-Card just came out with some kind of "Power Saves-esque" feature, so maybe Gateway will 1-Up them or something soon. Who knows.

Well, with the ability to decrypt and modify ROMs that we have now, cheating is possible. But you have to figure out how to edit the ROM to do what you want...

Gateway has hinted at powersaves style save editing coming in the next patch. Given mt-carts new broken save editor I ca n only assume that they ripped it from 2.3

Psh, they had some kinda Multi-rom before anyone else. I doubt everything they're doing over there is a straight rip from Gateway. :P
They got around that with a hardware button, not coding their own software. Though they get points for creativity, they still dropped that for a gateway ripped gui.

Hello again :), I know you guys are busy with a lot if things probably right
now, but I was just wondering if you guys are working on any type of online
functionality where it bypasses the unique card header check? Such as when
downloading a rom the header is wiped clean and turned into "FFFFFFFFFFFF" and
when trying to access online you get the following message "this game card Connot be used for online services"

We have our own upcoming 'Cheats' solution coming. It will be a proper,
efficient and professional solution. Safe and more advanced than gimmicks based

Please be a little more patient, you will be delighted by what we will offer. As
you know, no one beats the original :)

cheat system I would love to have one :)? Is so is it possible I can beta test one privately for you guys?

You guys say your working on the save game system ... Are you aware that our
saves can only be used if they are 512 kb or higher example being Legend of
zelda 3ds save file is 128kb in size and can't be used no matter what ...was
just wondering how long do you guys think until your save game system is fixed

One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I wonder if I could recommend that to some emulation devs that perhaps the sound could use some smoothing out to simulate those old TVs
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way
