Yes, you can play USA PS3 Slim in EUROPE... but I am looking for Power Cord to ORDER for 220v in Portugal because they are using 220V with 50z.
You can just grab a cheap adapter and use your own cord - you can get them anywhere. You don't need a new cord if your power supply can handle 100-240V.

Also, as Joe88 accurately mentions, it's a normal "double-barrel" cord, the exact same type you'd use with a boombox, a DVD player and many other devices.

Any electronics store will sell you a standard double-barrel cable, it doesn't even have to be PlayStation-branded, any cable will do.

As for the adapter, you'd need a USA-to-Europe plug adapter like this:

Alternatively you can do some handiwork, take the cable that comes with your US PS3, cut off the plug end and put on a new plug that fits in Portugese sockets (I think it's the standard European two-prong like the one above, yes?).

All three solutions will cost you pennies and the system is region free anyways aside from one or two games.

Thank you guys..

Foxi4, many Portuguese I know always do some handiwork like you mentioned for some engines but I do not want to hurt my PS3 Slim, lol. The power cord/supply that I am looking for one is the answer I want.. THANKS!!!!

Joe and Foxi4 again.. Thanks for the adapter and others on the Ebay. The Amazon does have one, interesting. :)

You could just visit one of the bajillion Chinese stores that are everywhere in Portugal than order and wait for the dispatch.

It was funny that they had steelcases of Pokémon cards for 2€ even though they were obviously fake, my nephew has them and they look atrocious but they can't tell at such early age.

Trust me, it's just two wires, and putting a new plug on is a matter of buying one and screwing the stripped wires to the two prongs and using some insulation tape - you'd do it in your sleep. Of course buying a cord takes less time and either way you're going to spend pennies. :P

More like between 70 cents to 1.50€ or more, unless he orders it online.

Alright... you guys. :)
Yup, that's exactly what you need, and you'll probably pay more for shipping than the actual cord. Seriously, walk into any electronics store - they'll have them and they'll cost next to nothing, that's how common they are. Now say "thank you Sony for not using stupid proprietary cords nobody's ever seen before and cannot replace". :P

That's true.. I am not getting it according to you so I will back off for a while. By the way, why did Sony not mention that PS3 SLIM 1260gb CECH2001A USA actually have a 100-240v 50/60hz ? To me, they aren't honest with fan.

Here:
Because they have. Model EADP-220BB (CECH-20xx) is listed as 100V-240V on the chart you linked to (it's reasonable to assume it's also 50/60Hz because of that). :P

True but they should have mention that in the manual or on the label but it only show 120v 60hz. By the way, I purchased my Sony LED TV about 8 months ago through Best buy have 50/60 hz and it mentioned on the label too but Sony PS3 SLIM didnt which is strange to me. (Chuckling)
