Hacking Leaked PSone full sound on ecfw Vita

as you know, ecfw on vita has no audio for psx games. Though in latest tn-v versions, Total_Noob added Peops plugin for psx sound, though it still has problems, slowdowns, doesn't work on some games etc.

with the recent leak, via by buying Tekken 2 or XS Moto on us store, it is possible to have full psx sound. crazy as it may sound, it works. more info here:

i bought XS moto on us psn and i can confirm it works. find the savedata from the files on the twitter link i gave, load the savedata in game, choose 2 player race and you will get to the menu where you can choose your ps1 games on PSP/GAME folder. enjoy full sound.

i can confirm XS Moto bought from us psn works on 3.18. first load the save game from options, then choose race, you will get a simple menu which lists all psone games you have on your psp/game folder, choose the game you want there.

game format is just like psp, put your eboot.pbp files in the folder.

I can now confirm it works as well. I didn't have any luck with Tekken, but XS Moto seems to be working great.

XS Moto doesn't appear to be on EU PSN, so Europeans should presumably buy Tekken 2 instead.

EDIT - Scratch that. The leaked exploit file seems to only have a save for US Tekken 2, whereas there is an exploit for Sports Superbike 2 included.

Nope. Same here. Looks like there are some incompatible games after all.

as it is still using POPS (psx emulator for psp), there are some incompatible games. it would be good to try the same game on a psp, to see if it works or not to determine the cause of the issue.

as a rule of thumb, games already on psn store should work fine as they use the same emulator as this one. but games not on psn might have issues, just like psx on psp too. though compatibility of this should be very high like psp.

I recommend using Sports Superbike 2 though as it's quicker and easier to trigger the exploit in that game.
