I can't see it working well on the one where the screen keeps zooming out, you need HD for that.
Does this version have 3D effects?
Seems like a cheap port.

I wish they'd do a virtual boy collection sort of thing for the 3DS.

God I hope it's not just 1 and 2, I just spent 30 dollars on that shit

so, do you like it so far?

I honestly have a mixed feeling of these retro mini games, I will probably buy it only for nostalgia (nintendo knows we fanboys, are crazy for mario because we are growing up with him). but will I enjoy it immensely? probably not.

everyone who owns a nes emulator should know that jumpnrun games play like shit on fast forward. maybe at 1.3x the speed it would still be doable, but beyond that, physics just feel so screwed up (like, you run fast, jump up fast, your brain wants to believe you're doing a long jump, but you suddenly crash down fast too)
it just isnt any fun and certainly that mode would be no reason to buy it for owners of the wiiu version

Seems pretty fun so far! Can't say I'm sure it would be worth full price (especially if you bought the WiiU ones already!) but worth a play, it's already hooked me on getting three stars for the challenges.

This would make a great first party e-shop title priced at 15-20 dollar / euro. But 40 dollar / euro for a bunch of small, nes based challenges is way too much.

This has been my favourite game the past weeks. Those leaderboards really make this game awesome. Only complaint i have is that the clear times should have 2 decimals instead of one, 10th of a second is just way too big gap in some levels. Its also fun that u can watch replays of the best times.

Only Nintendo has the balls to sell a handful of 30-second minigames created with the art assets of 30 year old games at full retail price, without even including the original NES games. I definitely won't be wasting my money on this.

It does seem like a missed opportunity. And what's up with having time constrained demos of NES games in SSB for Wii U? Having the full versions as unlockables or even paid DLC would've been way better.

If the games were included, Nintendo would probably see that as a missed opportunity to hawk them for $5.99 each on the eShop. They're just as money hungry as EA or Activision, but the fans don't want to believe it.

You mean to say full retail for Super Mario All-Stars Limited Edition Wii, essentially the ROM of the SNES version of the game, was NOT fan service but Ninty just being greedy? :ohnoes:

And they didn't even bother putting the ROM with Super Mario World included...
